What's New in Triage 2

2.2.0

July 5, 2026

In v2.2 the changes are mostly behind the scenes: • We've upgraded how we communicate with IMAP email servers (including iCloud and Fastmail). • Replies and forwards no longer stack up "Re: Re: Re:" prefixes on the subject line. • Plus a number of other small bug fixes and reliability improvements, including better error messages when we run into problems. Coming next: • v2.3 brings the unified inbox you've been asking for, plus accessibility improvements throughout the app. Thanks for using Triage!

User reviews

But how do you email?

Maybe it’s me, but after setting up my account, I couldn't find anything to open an email draft. Maybe it doesn't do that. I'll try something else.

Needs More Features

It's not a bad app but it's not usable for me. For starters I want to be able to change archive to delete. Secondly there's no way to star or mark an email to remind me to go back and do something with the email. If all you want is to go through an email and only mark read, archive, or reply this will work fine for your workflow.

Two feature requests

1. When I leave the mail in my inbox, keep it as unread.
2. Ability to share the email to a different app — I would like to triage a message into a todo in my task manager.

Doesn’t work with iCloud

It works fine with gmail but stopped working with iCloud after a couple days. It is easy to quickly review email, but inboxes are not unified (when iCloud did work). I requested a refund for the upgrade since you can use the app free with just gmail. I see now this iCloud problem is long running. Apples should probably address that with the developer.

The old version is better

Is this app still being developed? I’m going back to the old version.
