Terrible bot players!

I mostly play pitch. The game is good if you are playing with live players. If your partner is a bot, it is TERRIBLE! The bot bids on most of the hands even when it has nothing worthwhile to bid with. It will over bid ridiculously bad hands too. 2 and 3 bids without a single point card in the hand. 3 bids when it’s the last bid and everyone else passed. It is extremely frustrating because not a lot of people play pitch and you get stuck with bot partners often. It’s like playing with a partner that has never played before, can’t grasp it, and is too stupid to figure it out.

Euchre

I love playing Euchre. It is fun on this app.

Data integrity issue

The game led me to a sign in screen and my friend’s email address was already prefilled in the email address field, very very sketchy.

A lot of cheating. Through cross platform

To much cheating! Play for fun. Do not buy chips!!!

Another Rigged Game

Game is rigged beyond repair just like the rest. Designed to sell ads and get one to pay. Way too many games end in miracle hand comebacks to not be rigged.

Their ads are malware

Several ads that show up on this app hide any option to close it, or take you to a web site claiming your apple id has been hijacked.

Top Time Filler

I used the practice facility for improvement and now I’m sharp. Definite 5 Star app. Thanks, Trickster.

Hearts

I did do all the things that we are told to do understand the algorithms, completion rate and card distribution. I had an 80% completion rate, same game starts with one player taking 20 points, the next 3-4 hands, cards are loaded onto two players so it is so lopsided that players quit. The last hand 99% of the time ends in shoot the moon with a “chosen player” winning. It’s pathetically easy to figure out the algorithms, you know, the ones that are “fair”. I call BS on that.

Great

Love it

Pretty good app

Able to practice many different card games with other people or just the computer

Problems

Good game. But, I am taking tricks to win and the game is showing I am euchred by

Still bug

The game still refuses to recognise the advert close button on an iPad Air 2025, despite the developer releasing a fix that claimed to fix it. Game currently unplayable on this platform

Great game

Wish there were more players!

Great platform to practice Bridge

Decent programming though I don’t follow the logic of contracts and transfers. I guess that is because I am a beginner. I like to play with friends and haven’t joined a random group online because I don’t “transfer”.

Give us humans a go!

Potentially an enjoyable game but for human bridge players the bots by far get the better hands. For bridge learners this is very frustrating and deflating. Maybe change the algorithm so humans get more playable hands more often.

Needs bug fix, can’t close ads on iPad

Some of the advertisements will not close. There is a. Lose button but it doesn’t do anything. You mend to close the app completely and then relaunch. Prevents you from continuing to play with same people. This is occurring on iPad Gen 7 with latest updated OS. Very frustrating.

A well-organised App

Trickster is a well-organised and thought-out App. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty darn good. I went to Trickster after Euchre 3D, and I’ve never gone back to Euchre 3D. There are many different card games to play on Trickster, but I only play Euchre. There are many options to choose different rules within the games, which keeps things varied and interesting. There are no ads, but to compete you need to buy Trickster chips, which are extremely good value. The creators seem to be not greedy in the slightest. I buy 5,000 chips for only $15AUD, and that can last me several months at least. Give it a go. Updating to say that the dealing algorithm/AI will wear you down after a time. It is definitely biased to make you lose over the long term. The house always wins! So I am now actually recommending to NOT part with a brass razoo. DO NOT pay to play.
