Excellent accommodation
We stayed at Thornbank house for 3 nights during a mini break in the lakes. The B/B is run by Jane & Mark who are excellent hosts. Very friendly & informative. The house is very clean & modern. Good choice of breakfast & the location is very handy for walks. I would definitely recommend this B/B.
Disappointing
There is a stunning view from the restaurant. I only wished the food was equal to it.
I have had better duck from my sister in law’s air fryer.
If my meal cost half as much as Blue charged it would have been ok, but this was not worth $40.
The blueberry dessert was good but I asked if I might have ice cream on top instead of whipped cream and was not told that I would be charged an extra $5 for a very small scoop.
My husband was happy with his burger though…..
