Super updates to this useful trip monitoring app

From when it was initially launched to now, I can tell that the developers have but a lot of effort into making improvements acting on user feedback. On a recent day trip to London we were able to locate the students during their free time and send and receive messages without sharing personal phone numbers. The set up is easy and I like how it all shuts down at the end of the trip. From a safeguarding perspective it shows that teachers have developed this app and thought through the design carefully. I would recommend it to other schools and colleges.

Tracking function fails to work

As of currently, the tracking function on TripAid failed to work for me and my students. We were staying in a city and a number of them were lost to the crowd. Fortunately they made it back safely, a tad later then we had hoped but safe.

As a teacher this was severely damaging for my experience and I will NOT be using this app again. Furthermore, the students could only message me incase of emergency, there is not a call feature and I would hope that there will be if this app ever gets the update it so greatly needs.

Yours Sincerely,
Mr Davidson

Teachers assistant on school trips

Good to know the children can easily be monitored without teachers or pupils needing to exchange any phone numbers or details. Makes the teachers job that bit easier when leading school trips. And pupils safer.
Easy to use and set up without much expense.
Well done

School trips are less stressful.

Great app for trips. Let’s me send quick messages to all students on the trip and can keep an eye on them on the map at any time. So much easier and less stressful running a trip now.
