It’s just ancient and buggy. The core game is good. But this needs a serious refresher.
Doesn’t work well
I love this game in ff8 and really wanted this to be good, but, I click random to start a game and it gives me 1 card in my hand. I restarted, I was mid game and it brought up an error message and crashed, when I reloaded the app I got a message saying something along the lines of, ‘you have been punished for leaving mid game’. A great idea unfortunately poorly done.

Bootleg af and a scam
In contrast to FF8, if you buy gil for a card and you lose. You don’t ever get it back. Plus anything beyond sephiroth 1 is pay to win. I’m glad i stopped buying into it. This games worse than butt. It’s diarrhea 😄.
Such A Shame - Buggy Garbage
I love triple triad and when I saw this I was excited… until I played it. It’s sadly nothing but buggy trash. One review brought up some of the bugs and - seven years ago - the developer claimed to have fixed them. Spoiler: they aren’t fixed. Game freezes so you force quit? You get punished and lose your card. You win and go to select a card? Yeah… no. No selection allowed and you have to crash the game. It’s completely unplayable as I cannot progress. Now lets talk about the cash shop. Oh yes… $9 USD for 5,000 GIL. The most expensive card - Ultimecia - is 10,000 GIL. So $18 if you want that card. Whats worse is this is a game where you can PERMENENTLY LOSE your cards; purchased or otherwise. So game glitches out and you need to crash? Kiss your cards goodbye. Or, go to a higher difficulty and it doesnt even tell you what rules are in effect. Easy way to lose them that way too. The audacity that there is a cash shop in a version of the game where you can lose your cards is psychotic. Even FF14 Online struk out the rule about taking/losing a card and moved only to in-game shop. Then at least it would be more logical. Still, not for $18 for a good card.

初っ端のウォードからティファ出てくるから強過ぎてひっくり返せないし、買ててもひっくり返せないとカード貰えないってルールじゃなかった気がするんだけど…

It’s ok.
At first, I thought this game was amazing. Then I noticed a handful of things that turned me off and ended up deleting the game.
Still a great game that’s why I’m giving it three stars five if they can fix the mechanics by adjusting things.
It was almost like the computer knew what I was going to play. There were so many times that it play the perfect card in the most crazy chance that they had that card specifically. You work really hard to get good cards and the computer ends up having the perfect answer to take one of them away.
If you end up purchasing the game credit, you can definitely get the right cards to play and win. Which that would make it way too easy.
I feel like they should make it so you can sell the extra cards. You have to get credit to buy new cards.
To me that would’ve fixed the game enough for me to give it four stars possibly five. That way you’re not losing out on all your effort in one game.

Great game. So happy someone added this on app store
I wish there was more to do in this game. Otherwise I love it. I found it too easy. I have like over 50 sephiroth after playing like just 3 days. Please add harder levels. Maybe make a setting where we can choose a harder difficulty. I also think that more challenges would be fun to have. Thanks for your work!

Game doesn’t register correct math and never in your favor

The game freezes constantly and I must close it, when I enter again I am penalized by losing a card, it doesn’t make sense it needs to be fixed
Punished for a stupid bug!
While the game works wonders for me over the years, I recently got into the game freezing for no apparent reason! I lost my Cloud card due to this random game freezes! All those hard work collecting GIL ;(

It was too easy. Cleared it like a vet in an hour. Went to online mode and it was a ghost town, decided to wait it out and found a few matches. 5 Cloud’s ready to rock. But no one wants the smoke, they quit after the first two moves. Great single player mode, hope you expand to include all the rules and mechanics. Would recommend.

Classic Game, Helpful Team
Always loved Triple Traid. The game works just like in-game, super fun. It’s been out for a long time and it’s still worth playing. I didn’t like the HD interface but it is changeable and the support response was quick. Give it a try.
Buggy
Buggy to the max. Game freezes before I can play a card, punishes for rebooting. Don’t waste your time.
So glad it exists on mobile
Awesome and well-implemented version of the most fun minigame in FF history.
