Amazing
The drivers are amazing. The app is absolute chaos with no reasoning or logic, but it’s what we have and we live with it.
Horrendous routing
Microsoft please stop using Tripshot. What a horrendous route that tripshot generates! Cab will pick me up from my home that’s a mile away in MTV, from the MTV office, take me 4 miles to Sunnyvale, bring me back the same route back to the intersection where I live and then to the office. So a rider boards the cab, is driven away from work by 4 miles opposite direction? While the route could have been such that cab picks me while returning from Sunnyvale, rather than tug me along from the city where I and my workplace is to another city and back. Been reporting this for 2 years and always surprised at this routing algorithm that’s just non-sensical. We fear AI will take our jobs but these archaic algorithms could really use AI help or apps that have more logical routing algorithms will replace such apps sooner or later. This, after all these years of giving this detailed a feedback! I don’t think anyone even looks at this feedback, let me may be review on the app store!

Cumbersome
Too many clicks to generate a boarding pass. Even once it’s generated, another click needed to display it! Like, why I am I generating a boarding pass, of course I need to display it, just make that automatic. It’s very inconvenient when trying to get on the bus to go through so many clicks. And more than once the driver left, because that thought I was just a random pedestrian staring at my phone.
Also, favorites is not useful the way it works. I’d like to favorite a route withthe live screen that shows the buses in that route. Showing the list of 20 options (the first of which is, incredibly, walk instead of taking the bus) is not useful.

You may want to try your best to avoid this app and service
I had an extremely frustrating experience using TripShot for the WeDriveU shuttle from Harvard Square to Watertown Mews.
I arrived at the designated pickup spot at 3:43 PM — about 15 minutes early — and waited until 4:00 PM, but the shuttle never showed up. Despite this, the app marked the shuttle as having already arrived and departed. I know I was standing in the correct location because I stayed there and was successfully picked up later by the next shuttle driver.
When I called customer support, the supervisor insisted their records and bus camera footage showed the driver had arrived and stopped. However, when I asked whether the footage showed me waiting there, I was told the camera only captures the front of the bus, not the side pickup area. That raises an obvious question: if they can’t verify whether passengers were actually boarded, how can they confidently dismiss rider complaints?
While waiting, I realized the pickup location was at an active bus stop, so it’s entirely possible the driver temporarily moved to avoid blocking another bus without any communication to riders. If that’s the case, there was:
- No clear or reliable pickup coordination
- No rider communication plan
- No meaningful troubleshooting support
- No app safeguard to ensure passengers are actually picked up
Instead, I was left stranded for 45 minutes despite arriving early and following instructions, only to be told the system showed everything was fine.
This experience exposed serious flaws in TripShot’s reliability, rider communication, and accountability. If these issues aren’t addressed, other passengers will likely face the same avoidable problem.

On demand woes
The app needs better calculations. It doesnt consider or show existing queues or display delays in a helpful manner for on demand rides
Great experience
Thank you
No help
I use this app on a daily bases for my work transportation. i’m not sure if it’s on the app side or my work company but the routes haven’t been updated since 2023. Lately, the shuttles get canceled or don’t show up at all with no explanation.
Easy app and one stop for everything
Great experience
My employer makes me use
App is glitchy. Try to report a problem and no response from support. I wouldn’t use if I wasn’t forced by my employer.
Hatw it
Horrible app. Always gives me an error when I try to login.
It doesn’t work
For UofR Safe Ride it does not allow log in and says Email is Taken.
Can’t access due to login error
I login and it keeps says login error create email failure error
Maintenance

Bad UI
The interface is really poorly designed
Broken on iPhone 17
Boarding is broken on iPhone 17 Pro and there’s no way to otherwise board without talking to the driver.
Bluetooth cannot be connected iPhone 17
I recently switched to an iPhone 17, and since then I’ve been unable to detect the shuttle’s Bluetooth on the Boarding page in the Tripshot app. Because of this, I have to ask the driver to manually complete the boarding process for me every day.
This issue doesn’t seem to be unique to me — many Amazon employees have reported experiencing the same problem after upgrading to newer iPhone models.
Could you please look into this issue or let us know if there’s a known compatibility fix or upcoming update? It’s been causing daily inconvenience for multiple users.

Vehicle detection does not work
The app is still broken after the most recent update. Please fix nearby vehicle detection for iPhone 17 running iOS 26.
iPhone 17 Pro Max IOS 26
App still does not locate bus through Bluetooth after the recent IOS 26 app update
Terrible design
Wanted to get to a coffee shop. Ended up sifting through all possible routes trying to find a bus that travels over 100m and doesn’t require me to walk 90% of the way
