Be Prepared
The game itself is a lot of fun and certainly has its challenges. But there’s a problem that I can’t figure out the cause. The game locks up for no reason and the only solution is to close and reopen the game. This means you lose a life, any special upgrades you selected. It’s extremely frustrating when you only have 5 lives and you can’t predict when the freezing will occur. So just be prepared for the inevitable frustration that comes with playing this game.

Last update is failed
This is the game i like playing when i get time on my hands and the last update really screwed it up! 9 times out of 10 it fails to load. It never did this ever before. Annoying because finding a game i like to play is a challenge.
Was my favorite game, now unrecognizable. Ruined by ‘progress’
Added 1/25/26. Why are ‘updated’ now required? My current device is now 5 years old so I’m no longer updating that and developers haven’t updated a damn thing in this game since I bought this device. So why require us to do it? No one responds to my requests for help or my suggestions to make play better and maybe get players to buy stuff using what they’ve already developed but no one who owns game now listens. Only thing they’d still do is take my money. Sad.
When I started playing in 2017 I enjoyed this game more than any other I’d played. In the last several years ‘updates’ have managed to destroy what was a wonderful game. Like too many other game apps, once ratings, reviews and players are high enough the developers make the game unrecognizable to its original players. Characters were adorable, now they look like cheap plastic toys. Storyline has become ridiculous. And today the gems awarded for completing a level is now 33% less, I’ve watched Wooga reduce the boosts earned when going up a Village rank from three to one. The gems and coins that the Islands’ repaired icons provided daily are reduced by almost 70%. They’ve reduced the gems awarded for completing a challenge by 50% plus it takes far more challenges to repair something on an island. Yet it still costs 70 gems for up to five more moves. It seems to me Wooga wants long time players to leave. We’ve written glowing reviews and attracted lots of new players most of whom won’t care what was, because they will never have known it. This is, after all, a business. And the goal of any business is to make money, nothing wrong with that. What I don’t think is right is that the ratings and reviews you’re probably reading to decide it you’ll download this game, isn’t for the game you’d be downloading. Sadly, that game no longer exists and I’ll miss it terribly.

Coins
I love the game but wish you earned more coins. I’m passing the level and can’t level up cause I don’t have enough coins.
Great Story and fun characters
I really enjoyed this game for quite a while until the Match 3 levels became next to impossible. If we can't finish those, we can't progress the story. I eventually just quit playing. With other match 3 powered games, when we sit at one level long enough, they eventually give us a board setup that makes it possible to get thru it, or they give us a bunch of extra turns at the next update. This one opted not to give us a way through and just lets us sit indefinitely.
One only needs so many match 3 games in their life, and there are way too many games around now that used to be worth playing but devolved to be mostly just another cheap to run Match 3 trying to get us to spend real money. I decided to limit my real money to only my favorite game and it wasn't this one. I did really enjoy it for a while, though.

Longest game I’ve ever played
Been playing this for years. I’ve beat all the levels. Thank you for allowing me to keep replaying levels even if the story is complete. I’m on day 2011 in a row. But been playing far longer than that.

I’ve been playing this game for a very long time. But there are periods when I just quit playing for several months because it’s very frustrating. You know these games just aren’t fun anymore when you can’t get past certain level levels. I’ve been at level 1618 for about a year now and can’t get past it. Every now and again I will try and get frustrated and then leave it alone for another six or so months. I’m not going to spend money on the game so I guess I’m gonna stay stuck. Just so you developers know, we lose interest in these types of games when we can’t pass a level. Especially after about a year! It’s ridiculous. Do something about it so the game is fun again. Please.

Very fun but very expensive
I enjoy playing but I can’t afford to keep playing. I think they should make it easier to keep playing. I don’t mind paying but not when it’s that expensive.
Adorable but too hard to be fun
The graphics and characters are super cute, but the greed makes this game too dang hard. There are very few opportunities to earn power ups, which aren’t even intuitive enough to help you win. And, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but if you lose a board by one move you don’t even get to watch an ad for extra moves. The levels are too hard to win without spending money and gives me more stress than relaxation.

This is my go to game because it’s fun, but also a challenge. I’ve won the game three times. But I delete and reinstall it because I really enjoy the ingenuity of the game. Great work on the programming you have done!

meine Nummer 1 unter den Spielen. Ein paar Level habe ich noch bis zur Ziellinie, man hofft jeden Tag, dass es weitergeht mit neuen Levels.
Ich habe es in meiner ersten Rezension damals geschrieben, schön wäre es, wenn einen Tag und Nachtrythmus gäbe. In der Spielbeschreibung gab es das schon immer, wäre bestimmt ein tolles Erlebnis. Schön wäre es, wenn man alle Häuser und Gegenstände in das Lagerhaus abstellen könnte. Ideen hätte ich einige, bringt sicher nur Sinn, wenn es weitergeht.

I’ve been happy with this game for over ten years. It is consistently fun. The characters are precious, the game levels are doable AND challenging. Very creative and lots of sweet humor from these cats! Highly recommend!

Only one thing wrong with it
Only thing wrong with this game is the lazy programming, by that I mean changing the goalposts after the start of the game. The pathetic bamboo just ruins the game for me. Shame really
