Useless
This app is utterly useless. The app has only 1 truck showing in the entire DC. I just happen to drive down the street and see 15 to 20 trucks. None of them were showing on the app

No range
Very disappointed. Only covered one county in California
Great idea, poor execution
I love the idea of gathering all the food truck info and messaging it out to the public. But it still has only 10% of the local food trucks listed. Further, clicking on a specific food truck schedule gives me a blank screen (bug). Also, I could not see the times for when the truck was available at that location. Sorry, but I’ll have to delete it again and wait for someone else to develop something better.

Why do you need to know where I am located?
ETA 6/15/23: another food truck summer rolls around and I was hoping that Truckster addressed their privacy practices in their latest update. Still haven’t. They still ask for permission to know your location even though there is no reason they need it. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. AND THEY ASK YOU 5 TIMES ONCE YOU SAY NO IN DIFFERENT WAYS. Just so you know, this is a quintessential example of what the Federal Trade Commission calls dark patterns … and it is very much illegal.

It is OBNOXIOUS that it takes multiple clicks plus a return from settings to ignore the ask for my location EVERY TIME YOU USE THE APP. I know where I live. You do not need to know this. If I have told you I don’t want to provide that information, STOP ASKING. I have major privacy concerns with this app.
