True Competitors connects children fighting life-threatening illness with the professional teams and athletes they love. A hospital stay is long, isolating, and frightening. True Competitors gives a child something to look forward to: a real connection with a team in their corner. HOW IT WORKS Children pick a favorite team, then see posts from that team in their own feed, exchange messages and photos with them, and keep everything they've been sent in a personal gallery. Hospital staff set up and supervise each child's experience from a shared device. True Competitors is not a general-audience app and there is no public sign-up. Accounts are created by hospital administrators and by True Competitors staff for partner teams. If your hospital works with us, you'll be sent an invitation.
