True Competitors connects children fighting life-threatening illness with the professional teams and athletes they love. A hospital stay is long, isolating, and frightening. True Competitors gives a child something to look forward to: a real connection with a team in their corner. HOW IT WORKS Children pick a favorite team, then see posts from that team in their own feed, exchange messages and photos with them, and keep everything they've been sent in a personal gallery. Hospital staff set up and supervise each child's experience from a shared device. True Competitors is not a general-audience app and there is no public sign-up. Accounts are created by hospital administrators and by True Competitors staff for partner teams. If your hospital works with us, you'll be sent an invitation. ABOUT TRUE COMPETITORS True Competitors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Learn more at truecompetitors.org.
