Gift Card Bug
While the app can retrieve gift cards. It doesn’t apply to the order. Feels like an old outdated system because there’s no easy way to store gift cards as well for future use.

Well, this place needs to work on quality control from the kitchen and Management needs a few lessons on Customer Service!!
Tonight was the third time in a row that my food was unacceptable! $40 for dumplings and a salad deserves decent Customer Service And high-quality meals.
I tried to call to talk to the manager, but they don’t answer the phone so I had to get in my car and drive back there because enough is enough.
I understand why the staff all seem to be so miserable. After being ignored by the bar staff while they have a conversation, I’m then finally greeted by a miserable looking person who just hand me my food. No smile no thank you when I say thank you I met with a blank stare.
Beware of their Chinese chicken salad, if you get it, ask for the dressing on the side!!
Restaurant problems usually occur due to poor Management and I believe that is the case here. I spoke with Matt who refunded me $18.45 out of my total bill that was $39 and change. So I paid $16.20 for a few dumplings and had to make a trip back in order to inform the manager of the quality control issues. Matt let me know that the phone doesn’t ring in the kitchen, That’s why nobody answered with no apologies.

Cannot login
I love True Food but I keep getting an error when I try to login. I’ve reset my password multiple times. Nothing works. Go to their website to find a contact and the contact page is under construction (and has been for months). It’s so frustrating. I cannot order online or in the app. And there’s no help! I eat True Food once a week but this experience is completely turning me off and driving me to other restaurants where I can order online.

Worst App & Best Restaurant
I love the restaurant and quality of the food. This app doesn’t do justice to the restaurant. I can’t even log into the app. I’ve reset my password 7 times and still can’t login.
Tub of lard ate my food
My order was like 60$ already and one of the drivers ate my food, and never dropped of anything. This app has absolutely no report feature or any tracking so you never know when your order may arrive, who is dropping off your order, and if they even did in the first place. Its now 9:00 pm, true food is closed and I’m hungry wondering why I didn't just use Uber eats. The only good feature that this app has, is that you get way lower prices and deals. In every other aspect, it’s hard to navigate, has no customer support, and is just downright garbage.

Unable to place a delivery order - no place order button!

Poor functionality
Address function is partially broken. I can’t edit or delete an existing delivery address. I had to call the restaurant to give my apartment number. I tried the Contact True link and the link is broken. Poor experience.

I think I just found my new favorite upscale restaurant chain
While I enjoy eating at restaurant chains like Seasons 52 and Legal Seafoods I was very impressed with the K of P, PA True Food. The lasagna bolognese and Moscow mule with Fever Tree Ginger Beer was on point and perfect. I can’t wait to go back with my lady to experience even more of the menu together.

Overpriced mediocracy!!
Order was almost completely wrong! I ordered 2 garden scrambles, but received 2 scrambled eggs, NO vegetables, 2 little sausage pucks and a quarter avocado for $40!!! I order lemon ricotta muffins but received blueberry muffins!! This place is going down hill!!

Nearly impossible to order delivery from this app now. I have to use door dash.
What’s the point…
Most restaurant apps have a reward program. This one barely does and you have to dig to find it. There is no Apple Pay. The ordering is ok.
Barely qualifies as an app
This app has less useful functionality than just using the website. It does not correctly offer password completion, does not offer payment method auto completion, nor contact info. It also doesn't support Apple Pay. Why bother?
New app buggy and difficult
The new app update is buggy and slow, so it’s hard to navigate and create an order.
New version buggy as heck!
Old app version worked smoothly most of the time. As a Rewards member for some time, we were promised a smooth transition to new features but a carry over of points and rewards from the previous version. I was rewarded 2 rewards, but wasn't able to apply them to my latest order, though I had the reward code in the information on my account!
Also, when you save an item to the cart, there should be a smoother transition back to the main menu rather than clicking an "X". Menu begins on iPhone with a list of categories shown with pictures that scrolls verrically; after you add an item to the cart, the menu switches to a horizontal (at the top) orientation.
Who actually tested the new app version is the question I have. Evidently no one.

Fantastic app but they left out room for options
Love the app! It’s super clean and simple and user friendly. My only gripe is that if I order an item, lets say a burger and I want another patty, there isn’t an option to order another patty until I call in an order and there are times when I don’t want to go through that. It happens on all their apps, they don’t give an extra step to customize your order furthur.

Rewards program is a mess!
Your rewards program is a mess to use. The app shows you nothing about past receipts, purchases, etc. In the restaurant, the app rarely works and is complicated to use with multiple steps that take forever. You really need to streamline the program and make it much more user-friendly.
