Just more of a pain than anything. Everything the other reviewers have said, I echo. Especially the credit cards. Just annoying.
Waste of time
You cannot get the full value of the points you earn unless they have any participating stores in your area. If you cash out, they only give you credit for half of your points. If you use more than the allowed number of credit cards, you have to go through their process of deleting your old credit cards to add a new one. When all of this became too much of a hassle, I cashed out so that I could end my account. Never received my cash out. Sent message to customer service. They were having problems with their PayPal account. Weeks later and still have not received payment.

Scam
I redeemed 6 months ago. Through PayPal because there are no gas stations you can redeem at. Was told they can’t pay me basically. Now they are not responding to my emails.

As others have stated, you will never get what you are owed! Do not waste your time with this app! I used it and accrued a decent amount of money after years and they will not pay me or even respond to my many requests! Stay away from it!
Big waste of time!!
I contacted to remove old, expired, and stolen cards. They said I can only change one card, one time. Collected over $50 cashed out to PayPal for $25. NEVER RECEIVED $25 cash out. Do not waste your time!!!!

No cashout
I submitted a request for the cashout in September. It is now December and I still haven’t received anything in my PayPal.

These scam artists extort 1/2 of your earnings. Three months ago when I did cash out, I never received my money. Got the f around by Customer Service when I reached out 5x asking about my money.
Don’t Get It
You can only redeem 50% of you rewards if there are no nearby retailers to redeem at. Easy to max out number of payment methods with little to no assistance from customer service. Now no longer actually able to receive my 59% via PayPal.

Been waiting well over a month for a five dollar PayPal gift card. Customer support is nonexistent. Bad enough they only pay $.50 on the dollar but now they don’t wanna pay at all. Deleting.
Not Worth the Scan
After scanning enough gas receipts, I tried to cash out. It has been a month and no $$ has hit my PayPal account. This is a scam. I have emailed them several times and it is always in the que. NOTHING!!
Don’t waste your time with this lousy app
Customer service is horrible, hard to reach. Getting rewards takes forever. (Half the profit is taken). There are better receipt apps than this. If I could rate this app a zero I wouldn’t hesitate.

Years of wasting my time taking pictures of the receipts, just for the app to update and kick me out. Trying to login with my phone number and it says invalid number.
You’ll never get a cashout
Don’t waste your time. I’ve been using this app for years. I must echo the review from Jul 13. There’s no retailers that accept these rewards. I’ve requested a PayPal cashout for 50% of my overall total (just under $50 so only ~$25 cashout value with the point reduction) and the multiple requests I have submitted have never been fulfilled. I also exceeded the max 8 payment methods due to prepaid gift cards and credit cards that expired or were reissued new numbers. You can’t use any of those receipts until customer service removes a previously used payment method from the 8 allowed.

Not worth your time
Poor customer service. Weird restrictions on payment methods and unable to remove old payment methods. Often unable to search and find gas stations. Unable to find any nearby stations to redeem rewards, so you only get half your rewards.
Terrible!
Don’t bother!! They will tell you everything is rejected and you have used too many cards. When in fact I don’t even own as many cards as they say!! Customer service is awful. They do not reply. They tell you there’s too many cards and when you say anything else they do not reply. I have sent the same email 3 times.

Don’t bother!
After spending a couple years, scanning my receipts, I have almost $100 in rewards. Unfortunately, there are no gas stations on the trunow app anywhere near me so I have to take my rewards in cash. This means I only get 50%. I have now sent nine emails to this company and still do not have my pay out. I have requested it over and over again. I have come to the conclusion that they never intend to pay me. Please do not waste a second using this app. It is a total waste of time.

This app constantly nags you about not having background location enabled. Like I want this dubious company tracking my every move I think not. Immediate uninstall for me.
