Issue but good customer service
The verification step was in a doom loop. Truyu reached out and apologized and rectified the issue. I was frustrated at the time but the true test is not whether they have an issue but how they responded to it

This is typical that Commonwealth Banks DNA, is all over this dumpster fire of an app.
90% of the service can be found on the website ‘haveibeenpwned’ for free, without paying CBA. the ‘paid’ features don’t actually work and it won’t be able to find your credit reports.
Good luck even getting a Confirmation email to even register an account, it took them 48 hours to send a link to my email.

It’s been almost a week and entries that are visible on my credit file are not visible via this application. What is the point of this app?
Limited “value for money”
I joined the trial after seeing the product appear on a News telecast. The app is created by a wholly owned subsidiary of the Commonwealth Bank which is why I decided to give it a try. The app requires some sensitive information in order to register the account and you also add in all of the email addresses you use on a regular basis. Once set up, the app checks all of your email addresses against know stolen data exploits and reports back to show where information belonging to you could be available “in the wild”.
The Truyu App is only free for the trial period after which it becomes a paid subscription. The email vulnerability information is the same as you can get from websites such as “Have I been Pwned”… etc.
The ONLY unique service it offers is the ability to alert you if someone tries to create any bank accounts using your information or if someone is trying to take ownership of your bank accounts using your info. This is a powerful feature but I’m just not convinced that it is worth the monthly subscription fee being asked (especially why Commonwealth Bank customers need to pay in the first place). Cancelling my trial for now but will keep an eye on any advances as it has the bones of a good service but its actual value for money(as opposed to its perceived value) is the biggest thing holding me back

Don’t waste your time
I’ve tried multiple times and updated every week since this became available.
The first time I tried it crashed, it wouldn’t allow to register.
The second update it crashed and said to try again later.
The last time the current update it will get you through to the mobile number verification step only to be told your mobile number can’t be verified
If CBA can’t do proper Beta testing before they release an app and can’t fix it to a level to even appear to work, I can not reasonably expect that the app can do a complex task like monitoring in real time my financial affairs across multiple agencies and levels.

All these fixes said to be in place are not solving this App’s issues. You have to wonder if your data is really safe with these people.

Doesn’t Work
Crashes in step 2 when setting it up with “oops something went wrong”. Disappointing !!

Great idea but app doesn’t work. Fails at step 2, with an error message, ‘something went wrong’… tried a few times now with the same error and have given up.
