Great app for tuba players
Just add a 3 valve option please
Great for Alternate Fingerings!
I switched from Flute to Tuba last summer and have gotten pretty good at the midrange notes and knowing them from memory. However, when it comes to the high and low octave Iβm not great at reading bass clef down that low. It has the not name and where it is on the clef which is super helpful. Additionally, it has alternate fingerings to make some notes more in tune or easier to play. Really appreciate the simple layout and ease of use

Great app for beginners
I saw this on Reddit and had to check it out, this seems like a great app, it has a chart with all of the fingerings and even relates the notes to where they are on a piano, so a student could probably vaguely know of what keys to press on a piano to adjust to, and it also has a built in tuner, drone, and metronome! However the metronome is very basic, which could be great for beginners, but not so great for someone wanting more customization, the other thing that Iβd like improved is a toggle to change the notes in the tuner to flats instead of sharps, as it shows an A# when you play a Bb, D# with Eb, etc. I could see this as a good way to teach enharmonic notes, but for someone who is in their first year of playing BBb tuba especially, I could imagine this being very confusing at first.
All in all, despite its few flaws, I highly recommend this app if you are just starting out playing the tuba!!
