Worth Every Penny - My first App store purchase!

This was great! Even without cell service, the GPS worked perfectly and the audio started right at each point of interest. The history and stories of the Tulum Ruins were fascinating. We enjoyed it so much that we’re already planning more tours with this app. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Tulum!

Very basic

I was expecting more from a paid app. There wasn’t much information included. The information in this app was something you’d find in a very basic brochure. It was just so-so. Would not recommend though.

Really bad offline guide.

Rip off. Comparing to other offline guides like Shaka for example, this app is nothing and well overpriced. You better pay this amount to the local guide - will be much much better and informative. OK if the cost is $3-4. Other than that it is a waste of your miney and time. I was confused by good customer reviews and decided to purchase it. Go find yoursef a local guide.

Works well

Really good guide, worked well, guided us round Tulum’s Mayan ruins starting and stopping appropriately as we moved round. First time I’ve used anything like this, definitely will again.

Really enhanced our visit to the Tulum ruins!! There’s not much information posted and it was so convenient to go at our own pace and explore without relying on a live guide. A few small hiccups with learning to navigate the app, but it worked great offline and had so much interesting detail. Absolutely worth the price!

Wonderful Experience using the App

We arrived very early when there was no crowd and no guides as well. So we looked for an alternative and we found out this app which was extraordinary. We did the tour on our pace which is the reason we came in early to avoid crowds. While listening to Audio stories and seeing those beautiful videos felt like we were in the past. It took us 2 hours and then we went off to the beach!

Excellent location sensing guide

This app was super helpful because of the location-sensing feature. It worked almost perfectly.... the blue dot is your location (it’s close to accurate, sometimes it moves randomly but give it a few seconds to become normal) and the red pins are the different interesting ruins inside Tulum. Just make sure you download and test everything before you get there. Reception at Tulum is terrible. I followed the app’s route to go from one pin to the next and it worked very well. I liked that I could go at my own pace. Tulum doesn’t have as much stuff as Chichen Itza but the app has plenty of “filler” about Mayan history and culture which helps. There’s also a tour option in Spanish, which I didn’t use, but I thought that was a nice touch.

Much better tour with this app vs with a guide

This was our second trip to Tulum in the last 6-7 years. First time, we had hired a guide to go with us. This time, we used this app. It was a huge difference. Guide was in too much of a rush to take the next group. His accent was a bit odd for our kids. Instead, we enjoyed the app really well. There was no rush. It was a pleasant experience. It took us two hours as we listened to everything. Pls charge fully before you start.
