A Thoughtful Approach to Screen Time
I downloaded Tune thinking the goal was to keep my score at 100 all the time. After using it for a while, I realized that’s not really the point.
The biggest value isn’t avoiding your phone completely - it’s becoming more intentional about when and why you use it. Plugging in makes me pause and think before I open an app, and once I do, the streaks help keep me from mindlessly scrolling or going overboard.
It’s a really thoughtful approach to digital wellbeing. Instead of making me feel guilty for using my phone, it helps me build better habits and be more aware of my usage. Highly recommend.

i don’t doomscroll the news anymore!
I was checking the news way too much and it was genuinely making me anxious. now i keep it locked most of the day and use short intermission to catch up. so i still know whats going on but im not constantly consuming it. It’s the perfect balance!
Finally something sustainable!
I bought a Brick last year because the idea of a physical thing that blocks my apps just clicked for me. And the concept worked, for about a week. But it was all or nothing. Zero access to social, full stop. So the temptation just kept building until I'd cave and binge for hours to make up for it, then feel guilty and re-block. It was a cycle of total deprivation and blowouts. It wasn't sustainable.
Tune is the first thing that actually made it last. It's the same physical-key idea, but they built the missing layer on top: I have streaks with a friend so there's real stakes to caving, a Tune Score that shows me how consistent I've actually been, and a daily unlock allowance so I’m not fighting any urges.
Now I have a morning ritual. I spend my daily unlock checking in on friends on Instagram, scroll for a few minutes, and then start my day with social off the table. That's it. And it's genuinely given me my time and energy back. My attention span is noticeably better, my head is clearer, and I’m able to be present again just like when I was a kid. I can confidently say that tune changed my life!

Great app
My screen time has really gone down since I installed this app, truly a game changer
Changed my phone habits!!!
Tune saved me from myself! I have a much better relationship with my phone now. Much more intentional about scrolling and really good features. Thank you tune!
The Accountability App That Actually Works
There are a lot of other apps in this category, but nothing worked for me quite like Tune. Starting a streak and sharing it with someone creates real accountability, it makes minimizing doomscrolling feel like a team effort instead of a solo grind. I've kept my Instagram use under 30 minutes a day for a few months now, and both my relationship with social media and my mental wellbeing have noticeably improved.

Best way to reclaim time and tune in to life
I’ve had a very positive experience with Tune. First off, the physical key is aesthetic and great to fidget with. And the app keeps me motivated to tune into life - especially seeing how long I can stay tuned in (I must hold the record ;). Couldn’t recommend more to anyone struggling to get off their phone.

Great for building habits
I’m fairly good with managing the time I spend on social media, but I have always been an all or nothing person. Either using the apps or deleting them entirely. Tune helped me build better habits and learn how to use social media in a healthy way. I was able to limit my time and build streaks being held accountable by friends through the competitive aspect of the game. I really recommend this over other similar apps and features because of the accountability.

Best app blocker!
I’ve tried other app blockers before, especially Opal, but I always found it too easy to get around the restrictions. Whenever I wanted to scroll Instagram or TikTok, I’d just open the app, wait a few seconds, disable the block, and be right back to wasting time.
Tune has been completely different. The physical key is such a simple idea, but it’s what makes it work. Having to actually get up, grab the key, and plug it into my phone is enough to make me stop and think if I really need to open those apps. Most of the time, I don’t.
I’ve been using Tune for over a month now, and it’s honestly been one of the best things I’ve done to cut back on social media. It’s the first app blocker that’s actually changed my habits instead of relying on willpower. Highly recommend it if you’re trying to spend less time scrolling.

Tune is a simple, easy-to-use app with an intuitive interface that makes it easy to curb mindless scrolling.
The Best of its Kind
You know those times where you just subconsciously pickup your phone, and some how without thinking, your thumb just clicks on the instagram app (or what ever app it may be)? This used to be me all the time before I started using tune.
If you want to stop wasting your time by pointlessly going on your phone throughout the day, tune is the way to go. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it has saved me hours of time per week from doom scrolling and playing meaningless games. The idea of tune is very well thought out, really helping you minimize distractions. After using the app for a few weeks I noticed that it isn’t about not being able to play these games and to use social media, but it’s about using these things in moderation, which I believe tune does a great job of making that possible.

Only thing that’s helped me
There are several apps I’ve tried to delete and manage my usage, but have redownloaded uncontrollably. This has actually helped me moderate/remove the usage in a cool way. Thank you
