Can’t play

I was really excited to find this game again after loving it as a kid. But it’s not letting me get past the opening screen, old save or new game, it dosent work :/

Not working?

I’ve loved this game for at least a decade, I tried to redownload and it wasn’t letting me get into the game due to “no internet connection” but I’m under wifi and have mobile internet as well.. not sure why that is but I hope it gets fixed cause I adore this game :(
