Great product but poor app
Love my TUO light, but the app is poorly maintained. It is buggy often and consistently logs you out upon closure of the app. If the app was more functional I would recommend a TUO light to more people, but it’s hard to recommend with such a buggy platform.

Use and Support
With a newborn, getting the right lighting is absolutely crucial and with Tuo Life I get that and more. I had an issue and they were so quick with helpful insight, I couldn’t be happier.
Glitch
Glitches too often. It shows the bulb is connected, but you have control. Have to close the application and reopen to make it work.
Very buggy
Lamp doesn’t turn on automatically, app loses connection to bulb and it needs to be reset by entering the WiFi password, app crashes. I can’t manage my circadian rhythm if the light won’t turn on in the morning at the designated start time.
Amazing change in sleep quality
As a neurosurgeon I have to optimize the sleep I can get w my career. This really changed my quality of sleep and allowed me to set circadian rhythm even if waking up before sunrise every day. Game changer. Huge health benefits. Thank you for making this.
Clunky
App is clunky, functionally limited. Requires repeated logins which is annoying. Bulbs are also buggy. Cool idea, but tech/qc seems to need improvement. Wouldn’t buy again until these issues are resolved.
Terrible app that needs to redesign
Terrible app. I hope the light of itself is a lot better than this stupid app.
Works pretty well
For the most part, the app and the bulb work as expected. I like being able to set up the bulb to turn off and on a schedule. It’s a GREAT way to wake up. My only issue is that the app for now functions a little slowly, it takes a bit to load your room and get to the menu, etc. like a couple seconds, but that’s noticeable when most other apps are almost instantaneous. There are also little glitches sometimes, where I toggle the light on or off but the bulb doesn’t turn off. I usually have to close the app and try again to get it to work.

Setting up is infuriating because it will only let you pick 0700 as a wake up and 11 pm for sleep.
Love the concept but not the app
I love to calm down to the calm light and wake up to the wake up light. I feel like it really helps my circadian rhythm. It has not fixed my insomnia though as I had hoped. The worst part is how buggy the app is. I have the default calm set to 25% and it always comes on at 100%. That is not calming. It is jostling. Also the on/off schedules are buggy and don’t always work. They need new product development. The product was not worth the cost with these apps issues.

The number and frequency of frustrations with this app is incredible.
Great idea - Terrible app
Can’t customize. I had hoped you could turn to red light automatically at a certain time, but instead you have to do it by hand for each bulb every night.
And you can’t keep it on a certain color and just switch it on and off. You have to reset every time.

Former night owl
As a person who really has a hard time waking up in the morning, this bulb has really changed that. I feel way more energized in the morning.
Outdated app doesn’t sync
App is not intuitive to use. Often does not sync or turn on bulbs after programming. Sad for a bulb with potential.

Interesting product
The app does seem a little glitchy. I have to go through steps twice. I also set up the bedroom yesterday, but today it does not display. I did turn the bedroom light off this AM, but I would expect that room to still be visible in the app.

Great product, app needs a redo
The bulbs are great. The app looks like it was designed by a contractor that used the same template for many many apps. It’s both hugely complicated and doesn’t let you do basic customizations. For example, everyone wakes at different times in our house, so I’d love the “wake up” look to be on for a couple hours in the morning. Can you do that? Nope. But, there’s 15 different things in the sidebar you can click on that run off the screen. It also doesn’t adjust to daylight savings automatically (yes really). I’d suggest they redo the app.

Circadian without red light?
I just assumed this light would have red light function at night since they say it is the best light for optimizing circadian rhythm. The kelvin values don’t even go below 2300 which is also a surprise. I’m still willing to give the bulb and app a try, but will probably be returning this. Definitely a great concept, but needs some work!
