Yes it works
So this app does work on iOS 16.7.11. Also 18.6.2. Only one small problem. One you preview a downloaded file it is hard to get back to the server page. So I restart it. But loving the app

Can not connect to any server
Unless all the servers are down this irc client does not work at all. I have tried connecting to all of the servers listed but nothing. I just go back to my desktop. Not sure what is happening.

This used to work, but after updating to iPadOS 17, it crashes every time I try to connect. :(
Non-functional on iOS 16
Unfortunately the app hasn't been updated in a number of years, and now does not work on iOS 16, attempting to connect to a network returns the user to the home screen of the app

As others have mentioned, when exiting the app, for example if you want to process something IRC downloaded, when you return the app is super slow, to the point where you can’t use it.
When it came out, it was the only iOS app supporting DCC but now there are a few others I want to try.

Room for improvement.
I get that no one really uses IRC anymore but when you are looking for an IRC application you are looking for something close to the Gold Standards of MIRC or Iricle. This application has some cool features but it fails and keeping long messages while typing. I assume the interface has not been updated in a while but I typed several messages only to have them disappear from the entry field while trying to send. This makes the application and download and effort a complete waste of time. The channel lists fail to be clickable for some rooms in a long list. I like the developers mind set on how the interface is laid out I just wish that the application worked correctly. I will gladly buy a full functioning application if you do plan to develop an update. Thank you.

App doesn’t work, refuses to connect. The screen resolution hasn’t been updated for new devices.
Very poor design
If u exit the app then go back in it locks up. There has been no updates to fix the bugs. App hasn't been updated in four years.

Really good app for IRC lovers.. very similar to mIRC client from the olden days of windows 95.
Works great on my iphone 6s
I never had any crashes and it did exactly what I would expect from an irc program. The interface is kind of not the best but not sure what they could do to improve it. Thats why I gave it 4 stars but at least there isnt anything trying to bug you for money, I didnt see any ads that I noticed. I wouldnt try to use this for running bots or servers/ file trading just if you want to get on irc to chat with whoever you chat with.

Doesn't work anymore
I click on connect, I click on the server, and it just takes me to the starting screen
A decent IRC client
It works. Fairly reliably too.
- I would love to see the ability to connect to multiple servers.
- Times out after a minute if you switch to a different app.
- For some reason, if I ever do a '/me' command, it negates and ignores the " sign... Ie: /me says "Hello" comes out as ____ says Hello
- Try to recognize when there are blue tooth keyboards. At the moment, the on screen keyboard disappears, but the text box for TurboIRC stays raised up (when entering a message). That makes the room window shrink to less than 50%.
