About

Turbulence, as one line you can read in a second. Bumpline turns your flight into a single ribbon: when bumps may happen, how strong they may be, how long they may last — and how confident the forecast is. No score out of ten. No vague "moderate chop ahead". Just your flight, from takeoff to landing. ADD A FLIGHT IN SECONDS Scan the barcode on your boarding pass, drop in a screenshot, or pick two airports. The pass is read on your iPhone and the personal parts — your name, booking reference, seat and frequent-flyer number — are discarded immediately. Only the route, flight number and date are saved. THE BUMPLINE One ribbon for the whole flight. Height is the bump level, the fill carries a texture and a word as well as a colour, and the softness of the edge tells you how confident the forecast is. Tap any rough stretch to see why it is there — jet-stream shear, clear-air turbulence, storms nearby, mountain waves, a front, or wind near the ground — what it usually feels like, and what crews typically do. EVERY NUMBER HAS A SOURCE Airport weather, official SIGMETs and pilot reports all carry where they came from, which flight level they apply to and when they were valid. Nothing is shown without a timestamp, and an unknown airport code is never quietly swapped for a nearby one. IN THE AIR, WITH NO SIGNAL Flight Deck works offline. It shows where you are on the line, what is coming next, and how long the current stretch may last. The Ride Meter uses your iPhone's own sensors to measure what you actually feel — and after landing, Forecast vs Felt shows you how close the forecast was. QUIET MODE If flying makes you anxious, Quiet Mode changes how Bumpline talks to you: calmer colours with no red, softer wording, details revealed closer to departure, and fewer alerts. It changes the tone, never the facts. ON EVERY SCREEN YOU OWN Home Screen widgets in four sizes, Lock Screen widgets, StandBy, a Live Activity with Dynamic Island, Control Center controls, Siri and Spotlight, and an Apple Watch app with four complication families. BUMPLINE PRO • Flight Deck Live — your GPS position on the Bumpline, offline • Live Activity, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch • Unlimited and multi-leg trips, plus the large widgets • Pilot Maps — an aviation chart with wind barbs, isotachs, the jet core and CAT areas, with the model run and valid time always on screen • Altitude heatmap, Delay Slider, drift history and your accuracy ledger A NOTE ON WHAT THIS IS Bumpline provides turbulence forecasts for general awareness only. Forecasts are estimates based on public weather and aviation data, they can be wrong, and conditions change quickly. Bumpline is not an aviation operational product, is not approved for flight planning, and does not replace instructions from pilots, cabin crew, airlines or aviation authorities. Always keep your seat belt fastened while seated.
