Exceptional service
The service was absolutely amazing. I attended Coventry Turtle bay for a early mothers day celebration and they made every second count! Peter was very helpful when picking out drinks to our preferred taste. The food was delicious and were looked after very well.

Extremely slow and poor service Salford Quays
We came as a family last evening prior to a theatre performance. Initially the waiter was helpful, explaining how to download the app and about the blue light discount etc. he left and another waiter came to take our drinks order - we needed a few more minutes for our food order and he returned. Our starters arrived before our drinks order - our drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive since placing the order and the cocktails that arrived were not what was ordered - but they had taken so long to arrive we chose to then accept them! The food was enjoyable though could have been warmer, a side we had ordered had been missed and they said this would be taken off the bill. We then asked for our bill as we were then rushing to make the theatre performance (had been in the restaurant for over 2 hours and it was not particularly busy with a number of empty tables) - when asked if the side had been taken off - it hadn’t and they then did this we asked if the the blue light had been applied as we had not used this before - they said yes - on later and closer inspection it had not - we took their word for it but can’t see it on our bill - so would not trust this restaurant again

My first time
Ok. The portions were very small. Brown stew chicken portions very small. Expecting whole chicken thighs x 2. Came with no plantains. Had to remind the staff about the plantains. Cocktails ok, had no kick. Incidentally they did bring out some plantains after we finished our meal, plantains were nicely cooked.

Weather awful outside, in contrast to the ambiance, company, music, and attentive Staff in Cardiff’s Turtle Bay - on a wet and cold Tuesday afternoon !
Dirty, smelly and empty restaurant
The place looked runned down. It stunk inside as we walked in and the table was sticky. Simple things like milk was not available for a coffee. The staff seemed not bothered to help. Really disappointed with our experience at this particular restaurant.
Terrible Service
Visited TB in Birmingham today for my birthday and it wasn’t a particularly good experience. We waited absolutely ages, over 30 minutes)for the waiter to take our order…they had clearly forgotten about us. When our food did arrive, it wasn’t up to the usual standards we have experienced at this branch or any of the others we’ve been to. I asked the waiter for some sauces which didn’t arrive, he was too busy tending to a group of girls on another table so I had to asked another waiter instead. He bought over a bottle but it was empty. I could go on but I don’t think it’s worth it…all in all, a terrible experience all round!
