About

TuTasa started by showing the US dollar and euro rates of every bank, exchange house and remittance agent in the Dominican Republic — side by side. Now it goes further: it also shows the rates each bank charges and pays on its products, so you see who gives you the best deal. CURRENCIES — FREE • Every seller, one screen — banks, exchange houses and remittance agents, with their buy (compra) and sell (venta) rates. • Sort by buy or sell to find the best deal in a tap, and filter by type. • Currency calculator — how much your dollars or euros are worth in pesos (and back), at the best rate or a specific seller. Type into either amount. BANK RATES • Certificates (term deposits), savings, loans and credit cards — each bank’s rate, side by side. • Compare every bank against the system average to see who pays the most and who charges the least. • In plain language: “they pay you” on deposits, “they charge you” on loans and cards — per year. • Official data from the Superintendencia de Bancos and the Banco Central. HONEST & ACCESSIBLE • Real rates only: every number comes straight from the bank or from InfoDolar. When an institution doesn’t publish a rate, you see “No data” — never an estimated value. • Each rate shows where it comes from and how fresh it is. • Three languages — Spanish, English and French. • Fully accessible — VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, and high-contrast colors in light and dark mode. TuTasa+ — OPTIONAL A low-cost subscription for the extras. The rates always stay free, with no ads; TuTasa+ just adds conveniences on top: • History & Trends — charts of how each rate (currencies and bank products) has moved, with years of history. • Price alerts — a notification when a rate crosses the threshold you set. • Home-screen widgets — your chosen currency and seller, at a glance. • Financial calculators — investment, loan, credit-card payoff and savings goal, pre-filled with the country's average rates. Sign in with Apple keeps your subscription with you across devices — or use the app with no account at all. Free, and free of ads — no banners, no tracking, no selling your data. TuTasa was first released in 2020; this is its complete rebuild. Made with care in the Dominican Republic. Rates are informational and may differ from an institution’s actual rate at the time of a transaction — always confirm with the institution. TuTasa is independent and not affiliated with any of the institutions listed. TuTasa+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://tutasa.franklinblanco.dev/privacy

What's New in TuTasa

4.2

October 5, 2026

• Edit your rate alerts: tap an alert to change its price, seller or condition, no more deleting and creating it again. • Tap an alert notification and that alert opens right away. • Widgets now speak Spanish, English and French, and show when they were last updated (“Updated 5 min ago”). • If your TuTasa+ subscription belongs to another TuTasa account, the app now tells you and lets you sign in with Apple right there to use it. • You can unlink Google from your account in Account (Apple always stays so you can’t lose access). • Dates on the history charts no longer show one day early. • 100% real rates: when an institution doesn’t publish a rate, you now see “No data” instead of an estimated value. Every number comes straight from the bank or from InfoDolar. • A more flexible currency converter: type into either amount — for example, how many dollars you need to receive 10,000 pesos. • Clearer labels (“Sell dollars to”, “Buy euros from”), and swapping keeps the seller you picked. • Each bank product’s history now shows only that product. • Fixes and improvements.
