This app has great self-study as well as review of what you do in the classroom with your teacher. The teachers are so kind and patient making for a wonderful engaging experience.
Amazing tutors & excellent platform
I have been using TutorMing almost daily for almost 3 months and couldn’t be happier. The tutors are excellent and truly care. The material is well organized, and the app is very functional. The value is pretty amazing compared to hiring a local tutor in the US. I’ll continue using TM until I’m truly fluent.

If you can’t live in China, this is the next best choice
I have been using Tutorming for almost 3 years. I’ve been studying Chinese for eight years, and I started studying at age 52. I’ve worked with Tutorming to eradicate most of their sexism and racism, and now we’re working on elements of logic: for example, going up in a hot air balloon is not called “skydiving.” The curriculum is far, far better than when I started. Where Tutorming excels is with their teachers. I have found the teachers to be fantastic, engaging, fun, and extremely reasonable. I have had many other Chinese classes in the SF area (Berkeley, SF City College, SF State, etc.), plus in-person tutors, Rosetta Stone, and classes in China. In order to learn Chinese, you need to practice daily. This is a serious benefit of Tutorming in that you can schedule it anytime anywhere 24 hours a day. I typically do nine hours a week. My Chinese friends can definitely tell I have improved. China is the future, and I know this based upon the coherence of the written language, plus having lived in China for two years. If you want to be indispensable in your waning years, learn Chinese. You will not be sorry.

Great resource for Chinese distance learning
I have been searching for a strong distance learning app for Chinese for nearly 5 years now and finally found Tutorming. It has great experienced teachers, a user friendly UI, and offline resources such as class review and flash cards for self study.
