Chromecast you let me down!!
I bought Chromecast as a one off payment many years ago and it worked PERFECTLY. I PAID for a product where it was ADVERTISED to work long term. This promise was broken to many of us who had the old Chromecast.
The greedy people behind the app decided to DISABLE my perfectly well working Chromecast to try to FORCE me to buy the newer version.
I was so annoyed by this I refused to fork out money to buy an updated version, and went years watching TV shows on my MacBook instead of TV.
I have FINALLY decided to invest in ‘TV cast’ I bought as a one off payment from Harvey Norman, only to discover it doesn’t even let me cast my streaming sites to the TV for free.
This app is FULL of pop up ads. A money scheme to get you to pay with zero care for your experience as the user!!
What do you mean I PAY for TV cast, then need THIS app to Chromecast now only for it to not work because I’m asked to pay MORE to get rid of ads and sites I stream from aren’t supported??

It’s now dropping behind the arms race and media pages have multiple streams as adverts and it can’t keep up.
