Big Update ruined it.
This was great but since the major update a month or so ago it has really been messed up and various updates have not fixed it. I hope it gets sorted soon otherwise I might have to give up on it.
Recent Updates Ruined App
I’ve been using this app for almost 8 years. The last 6 of those paid for the subscription. It’s been great, but not perfect. Although, the newest updates have made it nearly unusable. From the bugs to the absurd lagging. You click to check a show as watched and you have to wait 30 seconds for it to acknowledge. It’s lagged in the past when doing bulk selections but hardly ever for a single check. It’s been the worst experience while charging more for the subscriptions. Not exactly the best user experience. Such a shame. They ruined a great app.

Latest Refreshed App Unusable
This used to be great. You’d see shows upcoming months in advance, it would alert you to shows that were canceled, and it would keep things organized. This recent refresh and app “glow-up” is horrible. Took all the features away. You can’t easily see what’s coming months in advance—now it’s just two months. You can’t swipe and check up on what’s been canceled. You can’t organize like you used to. Why fix something that wasn’t broken. Happily paid the $7.99 a year but now will go towards Trakt or a similar app. It’s a shame. Was one of my steady and tried and true apps I used daily.

They should have kept the old layout, which was simple and easy to use.
It’s nice that movies have been added, but I don’t like the new layout, and there are too many bugs when trying to find TV shows.

What have you done?! Please fix the MANY errors this has created! Hundreds of episodes I had marked watched now showing as not watched. Available episodes of current shows now missing! Please fix it or roll it back!

Updated my review. Few updates ago they completely broke the app but the quickly fixed the issues over a series of updates. I really love this app so I am relieved they took the complaints seriously!
V4.36 Ruined the app
When v4.36 was released, the search, alphabetic sorting, movies listing, selecting watched episodes, and countless other items were damaged. I do not understand how the developer thought it was good to go and how it made through the App Store review process.
The developer should immediately provide an update that rolls back the changes. Noted the subsequent 4.36.x patches did not make a difference.

Add New Features = Break Old Features
This was my go to app for TV Show schedules. But thanks to the latest update it might be time to change.
It’s the sad state of development these days.
Rewrite a stable app. Release it before it’s ready, so it’s buggy and missing features. And then slowly add everything back while you annoy your code base . Disappointing.

I FIXED IT!!!! NO THANKS TO SUPPORT, 2 days no reply
I have been a paying member since 2020 and I too lost all my shows and watch lists after this update that came with absolutely no instructions on how to recoup lost data.
Here’s what fixed mine perfectly!
Click on get 2 day free trial.
Do not choose a plan but scroll through to the bottom
Then you’ll get to a screen that has extremely small print at the bottom that says restore purchases and Bam! It all came back!

Since the latest update this app is awful !

Don’t download the new version
Downloaded the new version now nothing is working. I deleted the app and reloaded it and I can’t get past. The search for new shows screen terrible update. I’ve been using the app for more than five years. I would hate to lose all that history.

Completely broken now
I’ve been using this app for years and have always enjoyed it for its functional simplicity, but of course they decided to completely overhaul it and break it. When I try to open a show it gives an error that the server couldn’t be found, so it’s not only useless now but I can’t even see my data to transfer it elsewhere.

This latest update has ruined the app. I have never seen such a fast downfall. It used to be 5 stars. It barely works now. What a shame.

Whatever was updated killed the search. No results at all. Unusable.

What the heck happened?! My shows are messed up and the search function doesn’t work to add new shows. I really loved it as it was before the update.

Looks like it’s time to delete this app, loved it for years but the new update is horrible. I second all of the other recent reviewers issue and now the servers are down smh.
Nothing works
Since update nothing works. I tried reinstalling it and it won’t let me put any of my shows back on it.
