About
This app controls an Android TV or Google TV over your local Wi-Fi network, so testing it normally requires such a device on the same network.
If none is available: open the Devices tab and use "enter an address by hand". Any host on the same network listening on TCP port 6466 will demonstrate the connection attempt and error handling. The remote, apps and settings screens are all reachable without a paired television.
The app will request permission to access the local network on first launch. This is required to find televisions and is the app's only function.
"Android TV" and "Google TV" appear in the name and description as compatibility references. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC, and the listing says so.

Samsung, LG, Roku and Chromecast now work alongside Android TV and Google TV. • A keyboard that types straight into the television, with a Search key that submits • Or tap the microphone and say the title instead • A number pad for channels • Hold an arrow or the volume rocker and it repeats, instead of twenty taps • A swipe pad and a trackpad • Only the buttons your set accepts are drawn — no keys that quietly do nothing • Clearer pairing failures, faster reconnection, steadier discovery
