Top reviews

Paywalled

They make you go through the whole process of picking shows and building a watchlist and then AFTER you create your account it tells you it’s $4.99/mo to keep going.

Response from developer

Hi Brian, Using the app is 100% free - the core experience is and will be free - including tracking your movies, shows, finding where to watch it and lots more. There are a few additional feature that are paid only - which is completely optional.

Useful for limited series

I like short limited series but sometimes lose track if I pause midway. Keeping them logged here makes it clear how many episodes are left before the story wraps up.

Keeping kids cartoons sorted

My child watches a few different cartoons and always asks for a specific episode. Tracking them here helps me remember which season we’re on without digging through menus.

Catching up after busy weeks

If work gets hectic, I fall behind on everything. This helps me see exactly how many episodes I missed, so I can plan a catch-up night without guessing.

The Best App of It’s Kind

Hands down this is the best app for keeping track of and discovering new films and shows to watch and enjoy. The best part is the more you use it while rating and logging the better it gets in knowing whether more likely than not if a particular film or show might be something you’d like. New features are consistently added frequently making the overall experience better and ultimately making the app even more useful. Definitely give it a try as I think it might just end up being your go to for this kind of thing.

Tracking shows with friends

My friends and I recommend shows to each other constantly. I add them to my list right away so I don’t forget the title later. It’s become my running TV notebook.

Quick check before spoilers

Before opening social media, I check here to see if I’m behind on anything. It’s saved me from a few big spoilers because I realized I hadn’t watched the latest episode yet.

Organizing family watchlist

We have a family show rotation and it got confusing fast. Now I add everything and check off episodes as we go. Even my kids ask me to update it after we finish one.

Handy reminders for premieres

I don’t always remember premiere dates, especially for streaming originals. A quick glance here tells me what just dropped so I can watch before spoilers flood my feed.

Simple way to log rewatches

I’ve been rewatching an old sitcom and wanted to track it separately from my first watch. It’s easy to reset and log episodes again without messing up my history.

Finally Organized Hundreds of Movies and Shows

FlickPicker has completely changed how I keep track of movies and TV shows I want to watch. For years, I kept a growing list in my Notes app that had become difficult to search and manage. With the help of the incredibly responsive developer, I was able to import my entire watchlist into FlickPicker. Now I have more than 250 movies and shows organized in one place.

The app makes it quick and easy to find something to watch, save new recommendations, and keep everything organized instead of scattered across notes or messages. The interface is simple, fast, and does exactly what I need without getting in the way.

What impressed me most was the developer’s support. They took the time to help me import my existing list, which made switching to the app effortless. It’s rare to find that level of customer care.

If you’re someone who is always hearing about great movies or shows and then forgetting about them later, this app is exactly what you need. Whether you’re a casual viewer or a serious movie buff, FlickPicker is an excellent way to build and maintain your personal watchlist.

I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s one of those apps that quickly becomes something you wonder how you lived without.

Tracking episodes with ease

I used to forget which episode I was on, especially with longer series. Now I just tap to mark it watched right after finishing. It’s simple and saves me from rewatching half an episode by mistake.

Great recommendations

Great movie recommendations! Everything is laid out well in the app and the movie info. I watch Netflix and prime videos so appreciate that it can recommend content from multiple sites.

Response from developer

Merci for the kind words! Really glad the multi-service recommendations across Netflix and Prime Video are working well for you. More improvements coming soon!

Good app

The app basically collects all your streaming service offerings into a single location for browsing. The AI auto-selector is a nice touch. I do wish it were cheaper to sign up for premium, but the free version is useful.

Response from developer

Thanks for the thoughtful review! Glad the AI auto-selector is a hit. Totally hear you on premium pricing — we're working on making the value even clearer, and the free version will always stay useful.

This Is The App

I’ve use plenty of movie/show tracking apps (estimated 20) and none of them compared to this app. It’s got everything I can ask for; Notifications, Trailers, Collections, Actor Page, Ratings, Release Date, Where to Watch, Proper Similar Recommendations, Filters, and a Beautiful Liquid Glass UI.

Amazing Job on this app to the Developers!

Wow, beating 20 other apps is high praise — thank you! Thrilled the notifications, collections, and Liquid Glass UI are landing well. Lots more coming!

No More Scrolling Fights

Roommate movie nights used to turn into 30 minutes of arguing. Last weekend we tried this and just went with what matched for both of us. It felt more fair, and we actually started the movie while the popcorn was still hot.
