PLEASE UPDATE YOUR APP PLEASE
This app is a very great app but presently I can’t see tweets or search for anything. But when I make tweets it goes through. Please don’t let such a great app like this go to waste. Collaborate with X or look for a way to connect back with the twitter API.

No more Timeline Updates
Seems like Elon finally got around to killing this app too. ☹️
My timeline stopped updating 2 days ago, although sending still works.

The app is not working. The Timeline is blank. Has E M suspended access? 🤦🏻♂️

Even though Twitter largely killed off third-party API access, somehow this app managed to survive the cull and keep on working! It is, to my knowledge, one of the very few third-party Twitter apps left that organizes the timeline in a chronological order with none of the nonsense plaguing the official app. But lately, it seems like Twitter wants to throw the hammer on this app too; functionality can be limited at times (as of 2 June 2023) and the screen blanks out even though you can still log in through the API. Huge thanks and good job to the developers who continue to keep the Twitter side running; my advice is to pay attention to the functionality and that no blank screens appear after you login (the main issue I’m seeing as of this review).

But sadly doesn’t save timeline position

This client is still fully functional after Elon killed the API for most clients. It lacks QRTs, notifications, and doesn’t save your spot in the timeline, but it’s ad free and isn’t an unstable mess like the official app. Wish it was still actively developed and updated though as the last update was 6 months ago as of writing this review.

I mainly look at Twitter lists and would like to be able to remember the unread position of a list.

Works
This app still works after the API shutdown for a bunch of other clients.
Nearly perfect… but
It’s honestly significantly nicer to have mastadon and twitter both on the same app, but a major issue that I have is you can’t click the name of the person who retweeted a post to see their account, local and federal also should both be in the tab bar instead of the side bar, besides those few issues it’s perfect and does what it’s intended to very well.

I've tried many and this is my favorite
One of the few apps I've found that shows picture previews in their posted aspect ratio instead of clipping to fit in a standard rectangle. I'm a simple man, and this pleases me.
Love this app
The app is great, but there is a little shortcoming, Twitter and mastodon can not see the content in the bookmark and can not save the content to the bookmark, I hope the developer improve the bookmark function.
An almost better experience, only if …
I was looking for an iPad app to use both twitter and mastodon (my save account from twitter)
Pro :
- twitter account and mastodon account on the same app
- no twitter ads
Cons :
- Unexpected stop from the app
- Vidéos displayed as pictures, with no sign of video (if you don’t click, you won’t know it’s a video)
Suggestions :
- mix a timeline of twitter + mastodon
- enable post / retweet / reply on both social medias
- add a video playback option, or at least a sign on picture to show « video » (like the usual arrow …)

Leider
lässt sich die Schriftgröße nicht ändern, Bilder von Tweets werden meist nicht angezeigt, die Anzahl der Kommentare unter einem Tweet sieht man nicht etc. Da ist noch viel Luft nach oben.
Update: Nicht laden. Schnüffelapp und bleibt dauerhaft an, geht nicht automatisch in die Sperre wie beim iPhone eingestellt!
