Game changer as the parent of a T1D
I am SO grateful for this app. Coming from a different pump system where I couldn’t see any pump data remotely, this has been a complete game changer for our family.
Being able to see insulin on board, carbs on board, and her CGM number all in one place—without having to be physically with her—has brought such a sense of relief and peace of mind. It allows me to “look over my 10-year-old’s shoulder” remotely while she navigates more and more autonomy for the first time since she was 6 years old, and that is truly invaluable.
The carbs on board feature is especially helpful—many systems don’t calculate or display this clearly, and it makes a big difference in understanding what’s happening in real time. It also gives me peace of mind knowing we can go back and adjust entries within a few hours if carbs were entered incorrectly, which is so important as kids are learning and gaining independence.
The interface is clean, easy to read, and gives me exactly the information I need in real time. I truly appreciate the thought that went into making this accessible and useful for caregivers.
One area for improvement: when the phone isn’t connected to the CGM (for example, if it’s out of range), the app just says “no recent CGM values.” It would be incredibly helpful if it still showed the last reading and how long ago it was. For example, knowing her last reading was 300 twenty minutes ago feels very different than seeing 80 twenty minutes ago—those situations lead to very different decisions. Without that context (and without a graph), it can create unnecessary uncertainty.
The only other thing that would make this app as close to perfect as I can imagine would be adding a CGM graph view. Being able to see trends over time (not just the current number) would take this to the next level.
Thank you for creating something that makes managing diabetes feel a little less overwhelming. It really matters.

Love the details
Really like the details in this app and ease of use. Wish it was aligned with realtime data, seems like it’s maybe 5 minutes behind current reading. Love the ability to share and that I can have on multiple phones and iPads.
Wish list:
Time in BG range
24 hour graph
Recap data 2/7/14/30 day

No alerts, slow updates.
Beware. This app does not allow for caregiver notifications of ANY kind. You can see how many “alerts” the user has received, but you can’t see what those alerts were. It very regularly takes hours and hours to update to a current BGL. I’ve gone up to 14 hours before without an updated current sugar on the app. Refreshing does nothing and everything shows as current and working correctly on the users app. This device has such a long way to go and but so far we are incredibly disappointed.

No audible alerts
There are no audible alerts to inform the parent/caregiver of lows or highs. This is a critical function and needs to be added ASAP, please!
No alarms
Needs to have an option for alarms for caregivers!
No alerts or notifications for caregivers
Heads up for caregivers and parents looking into the Twiist pump. The following app will not give you alerts or any audible notifications when the Twiist user is low (or high for that matter). There is no option to follow Libre data on a separate app either. You are in the dark unless you constantly refresh the app screen.
