Bad idea
App crashes with new update
I would give this app a 4-5 star review but not after recent update. I used this app regularly, highly have depended on it for work, but with recent forced update to newer version, the app crashes every time I try to open it, making it 100% unusable. If they are able to fix, I will definitely change my review.
Suggestion to developer: If you are going to launch a major update, it would be helpful that you give it time to clear out as many bugs as possible before you force all users to update for these very reasons.

I tried to use the app this morning, and I was not able to access any of my content. I was forced to hit the “ update” button, and then the app did not update on my phone, nor did it allow me to access the app in its former capacity. If you are going to sell yourself as a productivity app, do not stand in the way of productivity!

Traveling made easier!
I used this app constantly while traveling in China as a non-native speaker, especially for long speeches and sightseeing tours. Google Translate couldn’t keep up with those conversations nearly as well, but TwinMind was incredibly helpful! The summarization feature worked really well and made it easy to go back and review later when I needed to

Unable to switch to landscape mode on iPad
A small suggestion
It’s becoming less and less user-friendly for early adopters, with increasingly premium subscription tiers being introduced. Now even the Pro version can’t use the Thinking model anymore—you need the Max version for that. Even though it’s not useful to me, it’s still kind of sad to see that I can’t use it anymore. I really loved this app before, and I still do. I’m just a little disappointed! If possible, I hope they could give Pro users a certain quota for using the model, and once that quota is used up, users would have to wait a certain amount of time—or a month—before it’s restored. That way, it wouldn’t come at such a high cost! I understand that developers aren’t philanthropists—they need revenue to keep the app growing! This is just a suggestion. The app is great, and I hope it keeps getting better!

The pro version is not living up to its name.
The developer has not only imposed strict usage limits on the pro version, but also revoked the permission to use the advanced model in thinking mode for the pro version.

Absolutely love this app. It’s a beast, not just an AI reorder and summarized, although most users will unfortunately not experience much beyond that use case. If I had to ding this team on one thing, it would be on marketing and value proposition.
1. real-time on-device transcription, which means even if you have a bad wireless connection, your workflow is uninterrupted.
2. They claim to have the best transcription engine, and I happen to agree, including translating more languages than one would ever need. 3. Interact with the notes in real-time. 4. Chat with a recorded note and make corrections, including identifying the correct speakers. 5. Record your own thoughts and notes. 6. Chat and draw inferences across notes. And, the final kicker, 7. Connect to your Claude account via an MCP. Put all those things together and you have got the ingredients to use it as a second brain, and if you are really passionate about taking this to the next level, an even more sophisticated second brain with Claude in the picture. This team is brilliant and could use some marketing help.

They keep on increasing the price and launching more and more expensive tiers, leaving out the earlier adopters in lurch, rated one star.
One of the must-have apps for business
I have been using this app for a long time, and it’s amazing💕. I never have to create the task sheet after a meeting or presentation.
Having used it for so long, I find it really great, and I appreciate the work the developers have done to improve it.
I also wanted to write an email about it in the early stages to help them, but I didn’t for some reason. Still, I love your work, and I can assist you with branding-related tasks.

Worth it
The app is very quick in capturing the sounds in real time and gives fast conversion. Summarisation is also quick.
Response failure and network timeout
After a series of conversations in a chat window, it often shows response failure and network timeout.
Email spam
Be cautious. They will collect your info and spam your email… even if you delete the app.
Great Program
So I recorded a 1 hour mental health counseling session. It recorded the entire session.
This program gave great insight which was the same as the counselors.
I was using a paid journal which basically does the same thing as this FREE program. Both ask about daily mindsets, able to write or dictate journal entries and both use AI for thoughtful insight.
