New update breaks following tab makes it unusable
DO NOT UPDATE! The latest update breaks the following tab taking away the watch streak and it moving up. It also causes constant crashes at random when watching a VOD
Currently the app has broken background audio that happens sometimes and ALL clips have broken audio. Every update fixes one thing but breaks two things
New update BREAKS auto play
setting, causing videos to auto play but clips have their videos pauses when played together if autoplay setting is set to OFF.
Also, vertical viewing is a nightmare on the app. You’re better off watching clips on their full horizontal size cuz you can’t see the bottom side of clips, unlike other video platforms. They can’t even get that right.
Ever since a few updates back, the app is so unstable. Every time it disconnects when losing data or losing wifi. When it does it tries to stay on either data or wifi. It will either freeze with an error or the app would crash.
This does not happen to an app like YouTube when watching livestreams on there. The Twitch app is the only one that’s unstable when watching VODs and watching streams, especially during the background. This didn’t happen before.

YouTube is better I only watch one creator on here that I am subscribed to on YouTube. Twitch is a hellscape in comparison.

Ya so ~here I was minding my own business when Google was like he makes us money more than jeffs pet mosquito and I was like holy fook and then I noted three words and then goog still went up | mostly because of my records and has nothing to do with computers though if you would look at goog again it’s going down why hmm the world doesn’t know my name. -Um

Horribly Designed
Maybe it’s just me, but this has to be one of the most horribly designed and annoyingly frustrating apps to navigate and use on my phone. But other than that, it does what it’s supposed to do which is let you watch Twitch.
Great, but not.
For the most part this app is great. Does what you want it to do. However, it is so hard to find a streamers page unless they are live. And most of the time I don’t care about who they are hosting and what other games are being played. I watch a handful of people, I want to be able to find them and their archived streams so I can watch the ones I missed. I don’t want to have to search for them through a search function and then pull up their page and find what I want to watch. Should be able to just have a spot where I can see all of the people I follow and click to their page regardless of their online status.

hey so whenever someone clicks into a livestream all the other background processes not related to that stream should be force stopped. its annoying that if i want a stream not to lag i have to first go to a page in the app that has no videos automatically playing (live tab) then open the stream im trying to watch and only then is the connection stable regardless of my connection strength also like way to waste peoples data!

Bug
There’s a pop up that literally only shows for a second, I can’t click the buttons to do anything about it, and it’s telling me I can’t watch my friend stream due to settings. I go to settings and nothing is set to hide, so what’s the deal?? I can watch on PC but not on mobile. Deleted the app and redownloaded, that didnt fix it. So I deleted it again, there’s no point letting it take up space.

Best/most used app on my phone. Addicted honestly cant stop watching. Also able to use amazon prime to get no ads for ur favorite streams
Always-on buttons in landscape
The terrible UI team strikes again with "gift a sub" and "subscribe" buttons that literally cover the stream screen when in landscape mode
Wayyy too many ads
Too many ads and they just keep adding more. You are basically forced to sub or pay for twitch turbo. The ads are way louder than the streamers as well. Terrible experience

Make the app more free so we can swear and do all that
Drops
Drops are easy to get on this app. The participating channel feature doesn’t work.
