About
Mari has taken the txapela to the top of Mount Anboto and says nobody deserves it. To win it back you must beat the guardians of the Road: Kiliki, the Joaldun, the Witch, Olentzero, the Lamia, Tartalo and Basajaun.
Play as Peio or Ane, the two heroes, and every rival you beat joins your crew.
Txapela is real Basque hand pelota on your phone:
• Move with the joystick and get into position: in pelota, positioning is half the game.
• Charge your shot and aim: a high lob, a medium shot or a low, full-power drive.
• Drop shots, two-wall shots, perfect serves and a special shot for every player.
• Play by hand, with a paddle, a glove or a cesta punta: each one changes how you play.
Nine courts with character: the indoor court of Iruña, the square of Ituren, the cave of Zugarramurdi, snowy Lesaka, Baztan, Aralar, the falling leaves of Irati, the storm on Anboto and the old 1909 Euskal Jai.
Three speeds, like the engine classes of racing games: start at Txiki to learn, then move up to Gazte and Txapeldun. Win the txapela at all three and a final boss who has never lost a match is waiting for you.
And also:
• Quick match with any player you have unlocked.
• Play a friend with a room code, or find an opponent online and climb the ranking.
• Earn pesetas by playing and spend them on shirts, balls, trails and celebrations. Nothing is bought with real money.
• A museum with the characters, tools, courts, the rules of pelota and words in Basque.
• In Spanish, Basque, English and French.
Never played before? Start at Beginner level: the game teaches you to serve and get into position step by step.
It's free, with no ads or in-app purchases, and you play without creating an account.
