creative, but difficult control

this is a very creative and ingenious game - not at all what I imagined - however, the control wheel is so difficult to use - it would move further to the right and then actually slid back to pass the edge of the screen to be half hidden - then I have to drag it back to its proper place ands then it would happen again, depending on how I am playing. I am using my ipad pro, so, there should not be any issue by now. please fix it
