Avoid if possible
As with so many of the UAE apps, this will frustrate. Logging into a laptop? Go to the app. Needs an update. Laptop times out. Navigation doesn’t make a lot of sense, trying to find old reports? Not. Easy.

I am experiencing an issue on my iPhone 17 Pro Max (Japan model)
running iOS 26.5.2.
The UAE PASS app opens normally, but when I reach the PIN entry screen, the keypad becomes completely
unresponsive. Tapping the PIN numbers does nothing, and I cannot log in.
I have already tried the following:
• Restarted the iPhone.
• Reinstalled the UAE PASS app.
• Updated to the latest iOS version (26.5.2).
• Reset network settings.
• Tried both Wi-Fi and mobile data.
• Checked all app permissions.
• Tried different DNS settings.
The problem persists, while the touchscreen works normally in all other apps. This appears to be an app-specific touch/input issue.
Could you please investigate whether this is a compatibility issue with ios 26.5.2 or the iPhone 17 Pro Max (Japan version)? If there are any known fixes or diagnostic steps, I would appreciate your assistance.

Passport scan wrong
After scanning my passport multiple times, still the birth date and expiry was going wrong. It’s using American format even when scanning non American passport!! The format is wrong so the date is wrong and there’s no way to edit or correct it!!!!!
Please fix it as it’s the only way to login to UAE service websites!

Better User Experience
The intentions of this app is good but it fails to do exactly what it is meant to do. Logging into apps take longer - Face ID works perfectly well and is secure. Now apps are asking for documents to be shared like emirates ID and that is also failing saying try again later. There is no alternative that has made the experience worse for the customer.

Can’t create account
I can’t create my account. Every time I’m trying to scan my passport it automatically closes. Without UAE PASS I can’t fill complaint against university that stole my 24000 $

Why do you guys publish an App which is not working? Location Services is not available for this App, because of which unable to use this App to buy a du SIM card. Everytime when I authenticate from du website or du app, the notification is not coming in UAE PASS app. When I refresh the UAE PASS app homepage then I get the notification from du. After I accept the authentication request, it fails saying “unable to verify the location of UAE PASS app. When we goto iPhone settings, there is no option to see location services for UAE PASS app. Seriously this is not a working app and just a demo app for advertisement.

For a country that wants to be at the forefront of technology and modernity, this app really, really needs to be updated. Nothing works. Constant errors.

Facial Biometric Verification
Hi I’m trying to log in but unfortunately the Facial Biometric Verification is not working. Every time I go to do my facial verification, the camera is not connecting with the app which is not enabling me to do my facial verification. I have allowed the app to have access to the camera.
Code doesn’t work also you won’t receive a code if you’re out of Middle East countries

The email verification step where it sends a OTP to email always fails, making registering impossible.

Multiple times used. Email couldn’t be verified even though using the right verification code. Can’t proceed further. Havw to sort out this step before moving forward. Very annoying
