This is a great product when it works. If you have a problem don’t expect any support at all. Emailed them several times and no reply, no contact number either. The app is over 4years old, pretty much says it’s all. Cheaper products which probably do the job better. I’ll be looking at alternatives on my next purchase.

It should replace your TiVo Virgin remote…but no
The app remote won’t swipe/navigate left as a Virgin tv subscriber! It renders searching, selecting programs/different tivo boxes/general menu navigation totally useless, so u need to sit with your clunky old Virgin remote along with (actually instead of) the app to navigate the menus (rendering app pointless). Many other useful buttons on the original remote not replicated on the app. For this money, and the amount of times I’ve complained thru my engineer, I would currently not recommend at all. From a hardware point of view; I’m also on my third matrix in 18 months, totally unrobust. really not ideal given the upper 4 figure cost. Last box under guarantee took ages to be replaced.

Great product and great app!
We use UControl and an HDANYWHERE HDMI hub to control our Sky box, DVD player, Chromecast, a couple of AppleTVs, and our 2 PCs - the selected source places to any one (or more) of the 7 screens around the house! The app is awesomely easy to use, with the source-specific iR control pack being well suited depending on the source selected. It’s intuitive and convenient - and no clutter! Love it - thanks HDAnywhere!
Furthermore, there was a small issue with the system not working with a brand new model of TV - but the brilliant support team got that sorted for us within two days by making an updated iR pack available, with polite and prompt comma throughout - very good customer service.

There are some tiny glitches in the ip addressing that sometimes causes the mhub to require a reboot but 5 stars.
Improvements
Adding more than one mhub would be a great asset. Some homes have had the early version mhub pros and might not see the need for an upgrade to a 8x8 but to add in another 4x4 or even and 8x8 but the app doesn’t support that.
HDAnywhere is a U.K. company and is doing a great job distributing AV around the home.
The app is just like the company, great and improving all the time!

UControl is so easy to use.
It’s a really easy to use app that enables me to control all my devices from my phone. It also makes the initial set up of the MHUB super simple. Great App!
Update has stopped Sky Q pack working
Since the update I cannot change the channel/ change source on any of my Apple devices

Latest update has made devices disappear from most of the zones in my setup. Was working fine before.

The new update has made our app not work as there sources have now disappeared so we cannot use the app at all other than turning on a display.
Such poor software/QC for such as expensive piece of equipment.
Prior to this update the app was very slow and we always had to wait minutes for it to catch up. Sometimes wouldn’t work at all.

App works well - very easy to setup and matrix source switching is brilliant!
Great layout
Once the devices and infrared leads got connected it took me no time at all to set up. The only slight problem was the amazon fire tv but once I got a flirc everything worked a treat. Lovely layout and easy to understand.
Great little app!
Fantastic app, literally does exactly what it says on the tin and once your used to the controls and delve a little deeper it offers no end of possibilities to help control and automate your devices! 👌🏻

Nice easy to use app for all of my AV equipment
Awesome App
Took around 15 minutes to set up the IR packs, but once done it worked really well. The sequences are really handy working alongside Alexa and handy shortcuts.

Have been a user for a while i can only say its the best form of av control i have had over my video sources in a long time having tried many products.
Sleek UI, user friendly and ultimately a doodle to use once set up which again was easy to do. 10/10 from me.

Has potential
Taken some time to get used to this app but once you know how to link up features it really is useful. The uControl packs however have issues with some tv models not supported - I hope HDA can fix this
Terrible
Given the amount of money their kit costs and the fancy videos showing utopian home AV lifestyle, the app is truly shocking. Takes an age, if ever to handshake with the hub. I honestly wish now I’d paid the AV installer to chisel through walls and install hdmi fibre than using the existing cat 6 and installing this kit

Woeful
This app does not even find my device. I have to manually connect buy entering the IP, I can get as far as ‘connected’ but that is it, the app then returns to ‘connect a device’. I have tried deleting the app, re-booting the matrix and resetting the internet but still can’t connect. And expensive matrix that I can use to it’s full potential; the matrix is situated in an office in a central rack so every time I want to chance source, I need to go to the office and use the remote. Very poor.
