Not showing any device online but we are watching tv using internet

Update April 2026, the app for last two days has not shown what is online or not. I want to be able to block my kids friends phones that they not work on wifi, but because the app does not work I can’t put them in the filtered kids area. That is another issue, the filter ls only work part of the time.

Update January 2026. This app continues to frustrate out household by not filtering set choices, and not showing what device is online. Right now nothing is showing as being online yet multiple devices are using the web.

App never works

The app never works after the last update.

Works Part Time

There is no way to block devices (that kids get from other kids), there is no way to approve devices (so I can make sure only approved devices are online), many devices will show the WiFi password and my kids log in from seeing that. Thankfully the app has a different password. I have filters for websites to block inappropriate adult themes maga cartoons that are supposed to block at the front end of the network so I don’t have to block it for each category under people but the filter has not been working. We should be able to block wildcards because adult web pages keep changes their web address but tend to keep the core such as *.nameofwebsite.*

We should be able to group block also, such as blocking 100 websites as a copy paste entry, instead of each individually. My kids figured out the app password and deleted my filters or the app deleted them but I am thinking likely one of my two sets of twins. That was over 200 web pages. It takes almost all day to input those blocks.

Useless app

The internet works perfectly fine but this app is TERRIBLE. It constantly fails to show all the devices connected to the WiFi, when I try to pause the WiFi on my kids iPad, it still lets them use the WiFi. So pausing it is useless. For some reason it forgets devices, so every time my wife comes home I get a notification that a “new device” has connected to the WiFi alert or anytime we turn on a device, so thats annoying. The app is so slow and constantly “fails” to connect. The internet is great and I’m loving it but they definitely need to spend some time updating the app. And why is there a separate app to pay the bill? Why not just one app since both use the same info?

I have to keep rebooting my phone for it to maybe work

I have to keep rebooting my phone to show what devices are online. Sometimes that doesn’t works. The app is updated.

Review after 2 years

We use all United equipment. The bandwidth tests on this app consistently read around 4-500 up/down. However, Speedtest hovers around 30/50 up/down, both on 5ghz. So, I don’t trust this app. All our devices are Apple (about 11 total and nothing else) and I’ve connected iPads to peak server speeds when traveling on business in areas with heavy interference, so I know for certain, the slow United speeds aren’t due to the device or an overloaded network itself. The business is also situated on plenty of acreage, not competing with nearby signals. I can be standing right next to the United media room and the app will say I’m getting 500 down and Speedtest says 45 down. Something is awry. Make sure you do third party test speeds prior to commitment. The connections are more reliable and are fast **at times, but speed consistency is a guessing game.

Doesn’t have speeds it says

This app definitely is not giving the right speeds , other apps are more accurate we should not be buffering on the speeds it’s saying we have

Works great!

We’ve had it for a few months now and we haven’t had any issues at all.

Amazing!

Wi-Fi as a utility is great! Super fast and the price is fantastic

Looks nice, doesn’t do much

Easy to set your WiFi ssid and password during installation, after that not much point in this app. I guess you can run the speed test once in a while to verify the fiber is great and the WiFi is the problem.

Hacked and can’t get help even though they see it!

Have changed routers, yet my old one is active
I get “parental locks” on the app and have been locked out of my phone for 8 mths!
Talked to them talked to Apple
Can’t get help!

Easy Wi-Fi Management

This is very plug n play wi-if setup and management. You’ll still need router access for important changes, but for general connectivity, this is a great app.

Best most interactive app I’ve ever used

Absolute must have if you play disc golf. Only app I know that has seemlessly connected amateurs and pros together. Brilliant design.

Unusable

My quick start guide doesn’t have a QR code and when I manually type in the serial number it says to use a qr code. There isn’t anything I can do.

Unable to use

I physically cannot type in the serial #. It has letters but the app will only accept #s.
