Finally Fixed
The app has finally been fixed and is back to being the good app that it was before. Thanks devs!
ipad app is terrible
content not loading properly, learning history not loading at all
Comically bad.
Where to begin? Udemy.com won’t consistently load in any browser except Chrome. Safari and Edge it produced a Download Udemy.com? Popup and nothing else.
Tapping on things with the mouse (from iPad in Safari) doesn’t do anything but your finger works. The UI in general makes you wonder if Udemy employs anyone with a clue about UI. You have these presentations and videos and a floating course bar that are fighting for real estate on a crammed iPhone display and it takes some effort to get it to where you have the course topic/presentation with the video overlayed and everything else off the screen because any other way the slides are being crammed down and are illegible. This should be the default view. Having the course topics list there is a distraction and not relevant in the moment.
Leaving a rating is another dumpster fire. You get two modules in and it’s hounding you about a review. I LITERALLY just started the course. The by the 2nd or 3rd module (considering the first is. How to use Udemy) I haven’t had enough exposure to anything to have valuable feedback unless it’s going THAT bad. On the mobile app, there’s NO WAY to leave feedback. We could’ve easily baked it into the UI under “More” but nope. Why do things that make sense and make it easy for people to leave the feedback we’re harassing them about? Instead they require a browser on a laptop or desktop. And you’d think ok, THEN it’s pretty straight forward? And you’d be thinking wrong. So following their instructions there’s three ways to leave a course rating: first is the annoying popup that’s way too early. Second from the course card in My Learning which only produces “Share, Create New List, Favorite or Archive” - not rating option. Or within the course player it says and shows there should be a Leave a rating button. Yet in the browser next to Your Progress where it should be is blank space. If I was an employer that had experience with Udemy’s app or website that alone would invalidate the worthiness of any credentials from the site or app because it’s very poorly designed and executed. Additionally it’s becoming like YouTube where anyone can and does produce content and with AI it’s turning into a bunch of AI-generated courses with no real substance.

Mobile App is Buggy
Udemy app (ios) is too buggy, it is slow, it is got frozen for no reason while you’re watching the course specially when it is going to the next section. Not happy with this
App messing up on iPad
The app keeps saying I have no connection and doesn’t show my current progress or the other learning path I purchased on the tablet but’s the web version on my iPad is working fine and shows everything. The app is updated
Totally Broken
App has been broken for a while, search pages trending and search itself fails to connect and download anything. In addition, my classes give an error when trying to load them. Mind you this all works fine on their mobile website…app used to work just fine, not sure what happened.
Bug on the App under My Learning
From quite a few time I am noticing that when you access your course materials under my learning and for any reasons it does not load and if you exit the app it close it and reopen the app the course is longer available under My Learning. This is really annoying and it does not appear back until you go on the desktop browser and access the same course. Pls try to fix this.

Dis functional
Terrible app. Constantly freezing and not connecting. The website doesn’t even work on some browsers
Suddenly having LOTS of issues
With the latest Apple OS update, this app is having some MAJOR problems. There are a handful of courses that I have purchased that aren’t loading and then have dropped off of my courses list in the app. But if I log in with my web browser, they all show up and load/play just fine in the browser. This is the first time in the 5 years of using this app that I have encountered any problems whatsoever. In the past, it has worked great! PLEASE FIX SOON! I REALLY LOVE your app - I just don’t love the problems right now. 😬

Terrible on iPad
The apps UI functionality doesn’t even work on iPads you can’t watch videos or load your old courses without getting an error. You are better off using the web version.
Update The App Please
This app is useful, but it needs an update. I want to message my instructors on the app, not just on the computer.
Missing courses
Only lists a third of my courses. Search is broken…

Useless
Classes are falsely advertised as accredited but they are not. Classes are useless except for maybe self knowledge. Waste of money. Instructors are difficult to understand and the printed materials are not in proper English. Waste of time and money
Website is much better app is trash
I have used Udemy for over a decade now but every time I try to use the phone app it’s glitchy or just does not work. I do not understand how the App Store is allowing this app to be listed when it’s down half the time and even when the app is “working” it is slow or the actual fetching of data is non existent. Just use the website or if you’re in a real pinch use the web mobile version the App Store version is just garbage.

Rubbish
I log in and the prompt to add occupation and interests goes to a broken page, I can’t find my lists or the 3 courses I’ve just purchased, it tells me I have no downloaded courses but not how to download them… I could go on. Very disappointing, and doesn’t inspire confidence that the courses will live up to expectations

Broken & unusable
This app used to be pretty good. Now, it’s literally unusable. It lists only two courses I’ve purchased—despite the fact that, when I dig into the settings, it shows that it has downloaded copies of several more… of course, it won’t let me watch those videos, but they’re still taking up space on my phone! Worse than worthless.

Rubbish
Courses won’t load - all I get is an error screen “ an error has occurred while loading this lecture”!
Course content good, app bad.
The app is super glitchy. Lots of bugs. UX is inconsistent. Features don’t work. Would not recommend the iOS experience. Not good.
