Well, it looks decent in theory but it just doesn’t work. Tried to register to create an account but it just keeps giving random error messages. I suppose I should have known considering it’s AppStore rating

Registration with Sweden phone number is required mean it’s unless for visitors, unlike the Stockholm SL app.
Useless for foreigners
Most other travel apps will let you buy tickets without creating an account, but UL forces you to create an account. They then don’t recognise non-Swedish numbers. Because you require a confirmation text to create the account, the app is completely useless. You have to go to central station in Uppsala and buy a physical card to use the public transport here.

Unable to use app
I couldn’t set up an account, because I never received a text message. If an email confirmation would work, that would be fine, but there was no backup method to make an account. The driver said he was unable to issue a 72-hour ticket. It seemed promising but didn’t work at all.
Doesn’t work for US numbers or credit cards
The app broke while trying to set up an account. The button would not let me press OK
Should be able to register with email too
The app does not send verification codes to USA phone numbers. You should be able to send the code to email addresses.

A ridiculously flawed app.
If you’re a tourist - forget it. You can’t set up an account since the PIN needed to set it up only works with Swedish phone numbers.

Won’t work - can’t set up account
App requires an account to buy tickets. Account setup requires text message verification, but the app won’t send a message to US phone numbers. Basic thing that makes the app useless to international visitors. Please fix!

Den minst användarvänliga, mest otydliga och omständiga app jag någonsin använt! Tack för nostalgitrippen tillbaka till modemtidernas layout och teknologi! Nästan roligt hur någon kan konstruera en sån dålig app idag. Skulle undvika att bo i Uppsala bara för att slippa använda den.

Avoid at all costs
When one purchases a ticket, they also have to purchase how long the ticket is valid for use. It’s nothing short of a racket. Use SJ as an alternative.
Unable to register with UK mobile no
Doesn’t let you check out as a guest, poor user experience. Provides no info about ability to pay on the bus as I can’t register in the app with a foreign number.
It’s pity
Like others said this app can’t accept foreign credit cards. It’s useless for foreigners unless you have a credit card that can be added to the app.

Won’t accept USA card
The app is fine for figuring out where the bus goes and what time, but if you are an exchange student from the US, you can’t use your card to buy tickets. It’s very frustrating.
USA credit cards not working
Will not accept my USA credit card. Soo annoying.
Works well for English speakers
Used this on the 15/8/19 and it worked flawlessly. It helps plan routes, shows bus times and the transaction process was easy.

If there was any rating less than 1 this app deserves just that. In description it states app is available in English and Swedish. But there clearly isn’t a way to choose how to download preferred language.
I live in UK and when I download it app downloads in Swedish.
However my friend who lives in Sweden downloads it app downloads in English. There is clearly no sense in making the app and say it’s available in both languages when in reality it’s a lucky draw of what language is downloaded
