My favorite game, so this really sucks!!
This is one of my favorite games at the moment!! I have it on mobile and on Steam. For around a year, I have not been able to play it on mobile :( it says “a connection error occurred” and does not let me past title screen. Steam works perfectly fine but I don’t get to play it on my PC as often as my phone. Let me see my horsegirls now!!!!

Trash localization
Great game overall but the localization is awful and due to cygames continued condoning I will keep 1 star until they fix it overall good game severally brought down by scummy translators

Absolute Garbage
I thought I was going to love this game, but it just couldn’t stop from screwing me over. There is no logic to the races. You can train your runner and have higher stats than all the other runners yet you can still lose a race and/or miss a goal totally because the devs don’t understand what balancing is. This is an insult since it makes your hard work go to waste. After losing multiple races that I should’ve won with multiple runners, I uninstalled and won’t touch this garbage again. I bet the five star reviews are bots and weebs so disregard those. Don’t download this garbage!

Greedy BUT SO SO GOOD?
To start this off, I must say. The devs are CRAZY greedy. Theres damn near no pity (1500 gems per x10 pull, 200 pulls for ONE SINGULAR GUARANTEED FEATURED ITEM, 4 cards needed to max out, so for guaranteed FLM that is 1,200,000 gems. For context, I have NEVER had that many gems at once and I’ve been playing for I think over a year.) and it takes a WHILE to save up. That said? Addictive gameplay, super duper fun.

It’s a good game but be careful.
Been playing it for a while and I got no complaints about the game itself. But if you do wanna play this game I must warn you, if you’re F2P like me and somehow get locked out of your account, the team won’t help you get it back because you don’t spend money on the game. I just lost an account with very good cards and had to start again

My suggestion is to add Secretariat as an Umamusume.
Mixed but Good
Art: 10/10 - the 3d models are done very well; fluid but still anime-like, and there’s even details like wet cloth when it rains. Very good
Voice Acting: 7/10 - it’s all done well, but only stories and lobby interactions are fully voiced; career mode is partially voiced. I understand why, but it still feels like a little bit of a letdown
Gameplay: 7/10 - actually more interesting than I expected, and strategy is actually really deep
Music: 8/10 - everything is quite good but it doesn’t have legendary songs like Idolm@ster or Love Live imo, or legendary soundtrack like Hiroyuki Sawano
Characters: 9/10 - I think Tokai Teio is one of the best anime characters of all time and Gold Ship is a hilarious memester. Daiwa Scarlet should just be a generic ambitious tsundere but is somehow much more interesting. Solid in this department.

I really enjoyed my first full career; watching the races and listening to the commentators actually made the emotional stakes pretty high, in a way I was not expecting from a gacha game.
The problem with this game is the investment and grind. Even after only a couple of days it already takes SO MUCH WORK. That original career was 3 hours long since I was savoring it. Most of your grinding runs are going to be like 30-40 mins, and you have to do SO many of them in order to complete the events. You lose the ability to enjoy the emotional stakes and the stories and it’s just WORK.
At least, I did.
UPDATE: Auto Career (Independent Career) is a game changer! The game is playable now! Yay!

To put it simply: this has all the elements for a great casual or story game, but it’s still a little too grindy.
Also, really don’t know why it’s even 12+. The fanservice is really mild. On a similar level as Bang Dream probably.
