Bad bad BAD! Crucial services are completely broken
Extremely disappointed with the current state of the UMANG app. Checking EPFO balance or accessing PF passbooks has become nearly impossible due to constant server timeouts, API sync failures, and background app crashes (like Aadhaar Face RD).
The government needs to take this seriously. We pay our taxes diligently, yet we face a thousand technical barriers just to access our own hard-earned money and savings. This is an essential utility used by millions of working citizens across the country every single day. Please upgrade your server infrastructure, fix the database syncing bugs between the EPFO portal and the app, and make this app reliable. It needs urgent intervention.

Extremely Poor Government App
Absolutely pathetic experience. This app seems to remain under “maintenance” for months. If it takes more than a month to release a single claim, then what is even the point of having an option to select “illness” as the reason?
People apply for claims when they actually need the money, not to wait endlessly for months. Instead of focusing only on advertisements, the government should also focus on fixing the system and processing claims on time.
Please improve the app, reduce unnecessary maintenance periods, and most importantly, process claims within a reasonable timeframe. A government service should actually provide a service when people need it.

Disappointment
Extremely disappointing experience. I have been trying to activate my UAN through the UMANG app, but it repeatedly shows Temporary Service Unavailable! This has made it impossible to complete the activation process.
The app is unreliable, and essential services are frequently unavailable when users need them the most. There is no clear timeline for when the issue will be resolved, which causes unnecessary delays and frustration. Since UAN activation is an important process for employees, the service should be stable and accessible.
I have no hopes that technical issues will be resolved anytime and the app's reliability and user experience will be improved !

UAN activation not happening
This app has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had. I’ve been trying to activate my UAN for the past 6 months, and it still doesn’t work despite entering all my details correctly every single time. The app either throws errors or simply fails to complete the activation process.
What’s even more disappointing is that there seems to be no proper resolution. Imagine someone who urgently needs to withdraw money from their PF during a medical emergency or financial crisis. If they can’t even activate their UAN because of technical issues, they are left completely helpless.
The activation process should be simple and reliable, but instead it has become a never-ending struggle. An app handling something as important as EPF services should be dependable, yet this one fails at the most basic functionality.
Please fix these issues urgently. No user should have to spend months trying to activate their UAN without any success.
