Does nothing but take pictures
Best app by far
This app is a life changer!! This is the EASIEST app to use!
This app has been a critical tool to know exactly when I take insulin and to change my life from living from high crisis to low crisis … to having my sugars inside the target range most of the week. Using meal time analytics inside this tool i have gone from 32 units of insulin the times a day with meals … to 3 mealtime insulin shots this week. Did I mention I lost 5 lbs this week? For the first time in 10 years, I am living with diabetes instead of unable to get out of bed due to so many diabetic crisis!! I was regularly 350-450 blood sugars. Now I maintain a range of 135-165. All this success drives me to do even better day after day instead of … frankly … just haven given up.
So LETS TALK ABOUT THIS WONDERFUL APP:
This app allows you to take a quick picture when you sit down to eat and enter a few quick tags and/or description of the meal. Save it. Eat before it gets cold. Not convenient to log? Use ur camera and take a picture anyway. Later, when u log it an insert the photo into the app, it must pull the time stamp from the camera and load the meal time for you. No longer guess on meal times or what u ate! Glorious and I generous!!
Quickly add insulin doses. Only disadvantage is you cannot load the type of insulin. So I always take the same dose of long term insulin and ensure that I never take that exact same dosage of short term. I even load my weekly shot, Mounjaro, which is a completely diff dose. That way, I can always tell at a glance what I take and when.
Sync your CGM, I use Dexcom G6, to the app and it magically loads each and every reading into the same app.
So what is the end result? Quickly and effortlessly load every shot, meal, glucose reading into the same app. View everything stacked on each other and how they interact in a quick instant!! SHAZAM!! See how each meal affected your sugars, what insulin dosage you took and if it was enough or too
Much. A quick color coded indicator shows what percentage of time you stayed inside your target range over the 2 hr period following each meal.
GREEN: 70-100% of the next 2 hrs stayed inside your target range
YELLOW: maybe 50-70% stayed in range
RED: you were out of range most of the next 2 hrs.
All the while, there is a trail from the CGM in the background so you know if you were slightly out of range or blew it!! Instantly understand what diet/insulin regime works and why. No more guessing!
In essence: save a life… get this app!! It’s time to live your life and not obsess over a disease!

Thank you for the very warm words! We really would be happy to have more of your feedback and thoughts, please reach out to us at contact@undermyfork.com. As for type of insulin: we do understand the request, and this task in our task list, but as we are a small team and have limited resources, it might take some time to get it done.
How does this connect to my libre cgm?
Difficult to figure out
Length of history
My son is type-1 and we’re beginning to experiment with undermyfork. I can’t figure out how to have a useful history (both meals AND glucose history for on Dexcom longer than 30 days.) This app would be particularly useful to us for meals we eat infrequently which we may have last eaten months ago.
Simple meal and dosage analysis
Нет глюкометра
Good, but sie UI Problems
Response from developer
Hi! Thank you for your feedback. We located the problem with your numbers not displaying correctly while typing, it will be fixed in the next update. To enable auto-syncing from your Dexcom, please open Health app — tap Browse — go to ‘Blood glucose’ (you may find it via the search field) — Scroll down to ‘Data Sources & Access’ — allow Dexcom app to write data and Undermyfork app to read data.
Recent T1D!
recording a meal. But otherwise this app is amazing!
Response from developer
