Worst app, never works, always cuts out. So out a date
Wish I could give less than a star…
Like many other reviewers we paid a premium for the version of the monitor that allowed for remote viewing by the app. It barely works. And when it does it’s pretty useless. The app hasn’t been updated in years by the looks of it, and now we’re not able to connect far more often than we are able to. Resets of both the dock and monitor are now required almost daily to have any shred of confidence that we’re able to connect using the app through the night.
Honestly I wish I could time warp back to when we initially looked at monitors so I could slap myself for even considering this product or any other by Uniden.

Woeful
Absolutely useless app. Will not connect to my monitor, continuously says connection failed. Only bought the uniden monitor because of the phone app, waste of money.

This app is terrible. It is very inconsistent and constantly needs to be reloaded. Surely the tech and app could be updated to fix these problems. I’d suggest buying a completely different brand baby monitor to be honest.

So the camera, monitor, dock and the rest of the bits are great.
The app is rubbish.
I'm testing it out now and as soon as I open a different app, or refresh my Spotify, or emails (just giving examples guys) I drop connection with my camera.
Couple of points to prove it's a software stability issue.
1. Connection is always able to be reinstated without adjusting hardware.
2. I have been testing this out in the same location and have not moved any hardware.
3. It has nothing to do with my wifi or router location - techs always love to play that card.
So unless Uniden firstly acknowledge this issue, then sort it out with a firmware upgrade do not buy this product for the remote monitoring app feature - it does not exist

Connection problems
I can’t get this app to connect to my monitor. Followed all instructions correctly and still receiving “connection failed”. No ability to submit a help request or any guidance notes on the app.
Camera does not connect
Unable to connect to this app, it is unless.

Can I just say the most horrible unreliable app ever in total it cost me 460 with 4 cam and the cables and I hate it stops working nightmood doesn’t work lagging it’s bad reward wining for what for being the worse baby monitor and app in the market

The biggest problem with this system is that in order to use the app you have to have the display monitor connected to the router at all times. In want circumstance would you want to use the app remotely but NOT want the person who is actually at home caring for your child to be able to see the baby on the monitor? The only time the app might come in handy is if you want to connect to the camera and you’re at home but out of range…
I’m sure this is not why it was created!
The app itself looks like it was released alongside the first iPhone back in 2008. Clunky interface and not user friendly at all.
It is clear that Uniden did not think these issues through when developing the app, which is disappointing as this is a big selling point for a lot of people. The number of negative reviews on here is embarrassing …

Loses connection constantly
To say I am extremely disappointed and underwhelmed with the performance of this kit would be an understatement. For the app in the phone - Always freezes, always drops out, no amount of upgrading improves the ability for it to do what it says on the box. It is misleading and deceptive. The hard wired base works, until the battery drops out after 40mins.

Won’t allow a connect to a brand new monitor. If you’re going to advertise this is a sale point and comparison point to other products in the range. Invest in making sure the tech works. A rip off. Now what do I do with a monitor and software that won’t work??

Worse app ever
I have try to connect this to my iPhone 12. It continue shows connection failed. I spend 6 hours and read the manual system up side down. Still can’t fix

Have they had this app for about five months, it was great to begin with -when I was at work or traveling I could check on my baby whilst mum at home settling or putting him down to sleep.
However all of a sudden one day it froze on a particular picture and has never been able to access the camera since. Even worse, all devices have frozen on the same picture. We reset the device to factory settings, deleted the app from all devices and installed from scratch.
No matter what, it’s now just a failure.
I’d send it back if I could but I bought it via eBay brand new and those returns are just far too hard.
I’d probably buy a different device if I had my time again
