Free tier will nag you
Free "subscription" does not renew automatically. You have to renews it manually in the exact moment of expiry. It does not let you do it sooner, and keeps loosing footage after. This mechanic is part of a "shadow tactic" toolkit that should be illegal.
Good when it works
For the last year or more it hasn’t worked. I’ve tried help support from uniden but no follow up and more problems I’ve given up.
App hasn’t worked in months
The app just shows me an error and a refresh button. The moment I hit the refresh button it takes me straight back to the refresh button doesn’t even try to load. Same thing happens with all the different features and pages.
Cloud issues
Good app if it wasn’t for the cloud constantly dropping out. Have to delete app, download again then add cameras back to have it work again. Has been happening for years. Big company like this should have sorted it a long time ago…
Rubbish
The cloud on the app hasn’t worked for over two years. And now the website is requiring a two factor login just to view your footage. Really giving me no reason to chose Uniden again.
Cool app and service
Works as expected. Sometimes needs a complete reinstall, but that only happened once in the last 4 years.

Scam?
Have seen camera switch itself off after switching it on. And the alarm now triggers just because you turn the camera on. Now Cloud saving is switching itself off too. No recordings this month. A complete waste of time. Am trying a reinstall of the App. and may update if anything changes. It seems that a third party may have much better access than me. NB all features of the App may not work if you try using the App with an active VPN. Turn off VPN before opening the App.

Do not recommend
App does not allow notifications to come through even with phone and app settings set to make notifications. Does not show cloud accessible images and I have to log onto the uniden cloud web address. Night time camera is very fuzzy and will only keep with till I update my cameras to a new brand

The cameras dont last, the solar panels have toy-like connectors that break, the app updated without asking and in doing so broke all my cloud connections.

Since doing the latest update, the push notifications will not save in the on position 🤷🏼

The latest update has made the speaker inaudible and crackly.
FIX IT
Many people complained and i thought i’d add to it. It wouldn’t be such a bad app if you could actually see the cloud recordings in app. Instead you have to go to the website because it keeps saying there’s an error. JUST FIX IT ALREADY

None of my videos will save to the cloud even though I joined .

30 seconds recording is not long enough
When checking the camera recording 30 seconds of footage is not long enough to see anything.
