Authentication is a nightmare
I get that they want to be secure, but the interface is so obtuse that it's prohibitive security through obscurity for the network owner.

Ubiquity just works . It’s better than anything you can get in the big box stores , but it’s not complex . Their GUI and web access support is amazing. They provide great proprietary options and still remain friendly to those who want to tinker .

doesn't really do anything just give a damn code but I still have to type does it save time or anything
Like everything Unify, extremely difficult to set up…
Once you have it figured out, it works as expected. But getting there… with anything Unifi… is extremely aggravating and challenging. None of their engineers or product teams bother to think how the setup appears for a person not a career network tech. But I already knew this lol… and continue to buy their products despite the massive setup headaches.

Simple to use, one app for all MFA and just works.
Worthless
This app connects just fine to my Ubiquiti account and even pushes authentication requests to my iPhone and Apple Watch. However, whenever I approve the request it says the code failed and to try again. Same thing happens with manual code entry. I have tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times to no avail. Broken backend and no acknowledgement from the developer. Garbage.

2FA codes can’t be hidden and can’t login with your Passkey. Can’t setup device bound passkeys or mandate that your devices login via IEM and not standard UI Authentication

Can't get it to see UI apps. Now I can't get Push Notifications without doing things that have nothing to do with anything! Come On! EX-Apple Networking Group. You can do so much better than this . . . or does Siri gotcha by the . . .
Constant crashes
The latest version constantly crashes for me on iOS 26.3.1. It opens sometimes, but then as soon as start scrolling down it crashes.
Not a great experience if you can't access your work accounts because of this glitchy software.
