Great case tracker
As an independent anesthesia provider, this is a great way to track anesthetics so I can provide case logs when applying for privileges at hospitals. I love the iCloud backup feature. My only complaint is trying to print a more specific reports list. I find unless I print every field I can not guarantee all info is included.

Best logbook available
After looking around for a while I found this app which I can use to log my cases.
Good Log Book App
Comes with radiology plug-in which I needed. Interface slightly buggy but found work-arounds until update comes out. User manual could be more intuitive and better illustrated but it is thorough as it stands. Export filters customizable but how to set them up is awkward to learn. Good for keeping track of RVUs.

It works
This is a great program to organize clinical data and logging cases. I am still trying to customize it for my specialty (Veterinary Medicine), but it has promise. I can’t figure out what the camera button is for, as it doesn’t at this time take a picture

Good
Customizable although navigation is a bit cumbersome. Interface is not that intuitive. Color palette not my favorite but easy to change. Waiting to see if desktop version would make things easier. Not a lot of options out there for log of medical procedures, with some effort gets the job done. Give it a try.

Logbook for Search and Rescue
I am not a ""techie" kind of person but with a little due diligence this App will work for you in ways that a handwritten log can never come close to competing with when it comes to time and effort spent.

I have been looking for a good log book app for years. This app is excellent and has a number of plug ins that are written for specific use cases. You can use it for many applications. And you can easily modify for your own needs. Great job!

This fully customizable app with its twenty-five information fields reaches beyond the hospital setting! Universal Logbook is just what I was looking for to use for Search & Rescue. Excellent data sync across devices allows the flexibility to start logging an event real time in the field then return later to add details, export a record or print a comprehensive report.

Working solution
While I am still new to this app, I can tell that the features and ability to customize the fields are going to make this a great tool!
Need to streamline for iOS 7.0
This is a great app with lots of potential. I just downloaded it after upgrading to iOS 7.0, and it works well, but there are a few glitches that need to be worked out. I am having trouble with the "location" field, and it does not let me add additional locations. Additionally, I cannot access the editing mode unless I click on the "search" field first. There are little glitches like this throughout the program that need to be fixed in order for it to word seamlessly. Otherwise, it is the best surgical logging software available, and there are no hidden costs, which makes it even better.

i can not activate surgery plugin and every time return to certain rural system , i tried to change to general .... no way it s still very bad and need a lot of work and organization

Great content
I've been looking for a surgical log app for quite some time. Universal Logbook is great. The subspecialty add-ons are perfect and very comprehensive. Iphone and IPad compatability is an awesome double feature. I'm looking forward to using the desktop application as well. Well thought out app with very nice interface as well.

Very Poor, Misrepresented Software 0/5
If you are a General Surgeon, or work across several specialities, no purchase this software. It is completely unusable. Sure, it has various schemes for speciality data. Who created these? The software is completely inflexible, you can only unload one scheme.
