Terrible App, does not work more often than it does
This has got to be one of the worst, if not the worst, remote app there is. It works occasionally, but more often, it does not.
At the moment, for example, the only function that will work is the volume control. I can’t change apps, I can’t go to the main menu, I can’t use the back button, I can’t change the active input, I can’t turn the tv off, I can’t navigate within the currently open app. But I can change the volume, so clearly the app is connected to the TV (which is not always the case). I have tried closing and reopening this damn app too many times to count.
The app is also not programmed to be able to turn the TV on, but hey, at least it can turn it off… when it’s working well enough to do so, at least.
And add to that, the fact that Samsung expects people t for this incompetently designed and programmed app is beyond absurd. Hint: paying does not at all improve the functionality of the app. Don’t misplace your remote because the app won’t cut it as even a short term replacement.

Works but…
Works well only problem is you need to give permission with tv’s remote every time you open the app to use making it pretty much useless. Not sure if it’s my tv or the app but it’s a deal breaker.

You can’t do anything without a screen popping up, trying to get you to subscribe and even trying to trick you into downloading another app as if it’s an update for this one! I literally just installed this one and just tried to use it for the first time if there was an update for it why wouldn’t they have updated the app itself before I even downloaded it? Pretty sure it was just an ad lying to me! They throw all these ads and subscriptions in your face, as if you can’t continue forward without doing it, but you can just close them out! But then you press one button and another one pops right up again! Let me try this out first to see if I even like it and then I might subscribe! But i’m sure as heck not going to now! what a frustrating experience! Why would I subscribe to something that’s so snakey & unhelpful right off the bat!!
