Cannot connect
I cannot connect to the apps wifi. The preset network in the app does not match the network that comes up on my phone so the password doesn’t work. There is no way I can change the network name in the app. When I try enter the network on my phone from the app, it doesn’t work either because the network doesn’t exist.

iPhone fails to connect
Apparently there is a know issue for the latest iPhones connecting to the UTR. So my Audi Garage tells me. Also, if there is a software update for the UTR it is not possible to do with the latest iPhones. If it’s a know issue why has it not been fixed!

The absolute and total uselessness of this product cannot be overstated.
It just does not work, no matter what you do this app refuses to cooperate and provide you with the features you have paid for when buying the accompanying Audi UTR hardware.
For the sake of your sanity do not buy the Audi UTR product or you will very quickly regret it.

MY25在庫車からの不本意な購入。

事故が起こったらすぐにメモリを外し、自宅のPCで確認。運が良ければ写っていますよっていう代物。

What a shocker!
I couldn’t agree more with the previous reviewer, this is an awful App and the front and rear cameras are frankly unusable. My Audi has had to go back several times after the dulcet German dialect tones of “Please Check Rear Camera” constantly chime. Save yourself a fortune and don’t touch this hardware or App, go get yourself a decent Nextbase Dashcam installed, Halfords do a better job and their customer service is far superior than the after sales service by most of the UK Audi dealers.

Unfixed bugs
Hardware is great and the app works well except for one (important) issue: connecting with the camera on iPhone is impossible unless you know how. I am only able to connect if I put my phone in airplane mode and then connect to the WiFi. This should’ve been fixed by now.

Was working fine up until the last update. Now it doesn’t connect to the wifi. Need to fix asap!
Worst App Ever
This is by far the worst app on the APP store, it just does not do what it’s meant to do, cannot connect to the dashcam, + it takes for ever to load, it’s a waste of time, if you ever want view your footage, just plug your media card onto a laptop save yourself time
Garbage
Cannot connect my phone to the device (iPhone 14) I looked online for all solutions and none of them work. I am a car electronics installer and have used many different dashcam apps to check my work. This is the first time that I have not been able to connect to an app. Audio doesn’t seem to care much about the end user experience of a very expensive camera system.

É un’applicazione davvero vecchia nelle impostazioni, nelle caratteristiche e soprattutto nella grafica. C’è bisogno di un aggiornamento bello grosso visto che si tratta di Audi e siamo nel 2025 non negli anni 90…

Very disappointed with the update of the app. Biggest problem cannot connect with my iPhone. Tried everything including all recommended resolvers. Just plain awful. Should give a zero rate

Es war nicht möglich, eine Verbindung zwischen iPhone und Kamera herzustellen. Unbrauchbar!
Poor connectivity
The cameras are fine and work as advertised. The software is appalling. I have tried to connect the UTR to the APP numerous times. It either fails or gets locked in an eternal log on password insert loop. I have updated the firmware manually on the SD card and still it doesn’t work. The software writer needs to get it sorted out. The camera should connect to the App without glitches. The connection from the App should be reliable either through the MMI WIFI or direct to the UTR. This does not do either and the internet forums are full of people complaining about how rubbish the connectivity is. Sort it out Audi.

Katastrophe
Die Funktion ist Katastrophe. Ich bin Elektromeister. Versuche hier die Verbindung aufzubauen. Jedoch funktioniert das nicht. Zwei ist es sichergestellt, dass das Produkt nicht von Audi selber hergestellt ist, sondern aus China jedoch das Audi das vertreibt ist eine Schande für Audi
