I can’t find my remote so I download the app and it’s charging me $25 a month?! I feel like I’m getting punished for losing my remote so I gotta pay now. Roku doesn’t charge me

Took 12 tries to get it to connect and the price is astronomical. I can buy a remote off Amazon for $8.99. Pure joke. Will use for free for 1 day then cancel

Being charged to use a remote app is crazy to me.
Does not work
If you do not have the TV remote, this app will not work because you have to give permission with the TV remote on the TV. Pointless I wouldn’t need it on my phone if I had the physical one.
Do not use
I tried this app on a three day trial to see if it is compatible with my television but got charged straight away and I never got the free trial and it wasn’t compatible with my tv unless I paid extra again onto of the £25.00
disappointing
my remote has stopped working so i got this app, but i have to pay for everything and im just a teenager who has her remote, and i can’t afford to pay or pay a app for the remote, why can’t it just be free? every button i press, it keeps taking me to the section where i have to pay, This is disappointing. is there a app that is free without having to pay a subscription???

Free turns into $10 without authorization
They charged my card $10.81 for a “free app” without a request for authorization. Buyer beware.
