As a student who is completely new to the stock market, I recently started exploring the Univest app. I had a few initial hurdles and confusion regarding my account settings and subscription.
However, the customer support team handled my concerns incredibly well. I received a call from their support representative, Ashish, who was absolutely brilliant. He was extremely polite, empathetic, and professional. He patiently guided me through the next steps and promptly helped me resolve my issues via email approval.
In today’s digital world, it is rare to find such responsive and genuinely helpful customer service. A huge thank you to Univest and especially to Ashish for understanding a student's perspective and providing top-notch support. Highly recommended!

The app not only provides the users with buy or sells calls alone. They also additionally provide us with daily insights from the markets, corporate actions, fundamentals and technicals.
Further they regularly conduct webinars to educate and apprise users of the current events, stocks in focus and various other topics related to the market. There is a lot negativity around their accuracy. However, i strongly believe no one can predict the markets and sudden turn of events especially when it comes to global markets. Yet the advisors at invest lay their interests in protecting their clients' capital. Even in adverse situations they provide hedging mechanisms to minimize losses.
There is needless to say that you if you have capital above 50k, one can easily recover their annual subscription fee within weeks or months and sometimes even days. I have personally made huge profits from their buy/sell signals. I must say having a SEBI RA on your side gives you the edge especially if you're in a full time job and can't explore opportunities in the market independently due to lack of time.

Targets Rarely Achieved, Losses Hidden
I am extremely disappointed with Univest. The app promotes short-term, mid-term, and long-term stock recommendations with specific targets and holding periods, but the reality is very different after purchasing the subscription.
Many trades are closed much earlier than the stated target period, sometimes on the same day or within a few days, with just 1–2% profit. The advertised target is rarely achieved because profits are booked prematurely.
On the other hand, when a trade goes into loss, it is often left open for months or even hundreds of days. In some cases, additional buying is recommended, and eventually the trade is closed after 300–600 days with only 2–3% profit.
Another major issue is the lack of transparency. Winning trades are highlighted, but running loss-making trades are not properly showcased. This creates a misleading impression of overall performance and makes it difficult for subscribers to assess the actual success rate.
The app also constantly pushes Futures & Options and Commodity plans, even when a customer is only interested in stock recommendations. The frequent upselling becomes irritating.
The marketing and promotional material create expectations that are very different from what subscribers experience after purchasing the plan. I strongly feel that prospective customers should carefully evaluate the service before subscribing.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this app.

You're warning that *"Univest App" is a fake app* run by highly educated, very clever people who trap investors. *How they trap people:* 1. I have been connected with the app for 2 years 2. I took 3-4 trades on their advice - *all were losses* 3. Their method: They pick stocks that have _already risen_ 4-7% in a day/week 4. They then tell users to "buy now for 4-5% potential" 5. Example: Stock goes from ₹500 to ₹550, they give entry at ₹550 6. If you're lucky, it goes up 2-4% more and they make you exit for a tiny profit 7. But usually, you buy at the high and *it falls immediately* - then you're trapped for years 8. I am personally stuck in 3 of their stocks for 3 years now 9. They either move it to "long term/medium term" or make you exit at 1-1.5% instead of 5% 10. You can't track it all day, so you don't realize they're exiting early *My advice*: It's totally fraud, fake membership, fake people. Don't Invest.

There was a phase when I almost gave up on stock market investing because of the losses I faced in the beginning. I used to follow random advice and enter trades without proper understanding, which led to mistakes. After some time, I decided to take a break because it was affecting my confidence. A few months later, I thought of starting again, but this time in a more careful way. That is when I found the Univest app. Initially, I was just observing how things work, but slowly I started using the insights available on the platform. What I noticed was that it helped me think more clearly before making decisions. I was no longer blindly following tips. Instead, I started understanding the reasoning behind trades. This shift made a big difference in how I approached investing. I still take calculated risks, but now I feel more in control. Very nice
I am not a regular trader, I just invest small amounts whenever I have some extra money, usually around ₹4,000–₹5,000. The problem was that I never had time to properly analyze the market, so I used to either skip investing or make random decisions. Then one of my friends suggested Univest, and I thought of giving it a try. I started with around ₹7,000 to test how things work. The app interface is clean and simple, which is a big plus because I don’t like complicated platforms. It gives stock suggestions along with some reasoning, which helps in understanding what’s going on. I followed a couple of ideas and observed how they performed. What I liked is that it gave me some confidence to stay invested instead of panicking. I still keep my investments small, but now I feel more in control. It’s a helpful app if you don’t have time for deep research but still want some direction.

Univest is teacher for me
I still remember the time when I first decided to seriously start investing in the stock market. I had tried a few apps before, but I always felt confused because there was too much information and no clear direction. I used to watch random videos, follow different tips, and end up making decisions without proper confidence. That phase was frustrating because I wanted to learn, but I did not know how to move in the right direction. Then I came across the Univest app. At first, I downloaded it just to explore, without expecting much. But within a few days, I noticed that the way everything was presented felt more structured and easy to understand. Instead of feeling lost, I started getting clarity. I began taking small steps, observing recommendations, and learning how to think before investing. What I really liked was that I did not feel rushed. Over time, I gained confidence, and my approach became more disciplined. It was not about quick profits, but about understanding the process. Today, I feel much more aware of my decisions, and that initial confusion has reduced a lot. For me, Univest has been more like a guide than just an app.

False claims
They just put random suggestions they don’t care about your profits or losses they let drain all your capital then too they won’t suggest to exit the trade and these people claim 85% accuracy on futures and 78% on options but the truth is that they had just put a recommendation at 10am and I went to the Univest application after few seconds only but its claiming alrdy the profit has gone to 2500 and you can earn profits max 5-6k but the losses are insane like I had put 79k in a lot and the loss was 56k in total the profit I can gather is only 3.2k and the total loss was about 1.7 lakh I am accumulating all the proofs nd will gonna sue them for mis information and false claims. Please don’t waste your money on their subscription and the reviews are fake their executives call their customers and ask them to write the reviews in their favour plz be aware and invest through this application at your own risk. I suggest stay away.

Only stock ideas works. All other will face loss
I am using univest for 3 years now. Stock trade ideas are good. You can make profit of arounf 15% per year. But you should not be faint hearted as the unrealized PNL will always be negative 10 - 30 %. I go with only realised PNL so i dont mind.
But all others than stock ideas are worst with sure loss result. Futures, commodities, options all ideas you will receive notification after 1 min of the trade open or close time. I tried all 3 for 6 months. Always 20 - 50% slippage. Its not random like some slippages are profitable and some or not. All slippages are loss causing.
I have executed all trades within 1 min of notification. Overall Full loss.
Their baskets are also waste. Simple gimic percentages they show. I usef baskets for 6 months. Always negative portfolio. Rebalance options have lot of bugs. And i am trying to get out of baskets but overall PNL is 17% down. So stuck.
Their dmat account id one of the worst. Sometimes orders get stuck. Not sure how much they are charging. My realized profit id 20k. And charges is 12k so almost 40% charges out of my realized profit. This is not with F&O. with stock basket trades.
Thankfully i didnt move all my portfolio to univest demat.
