I just love this game!
It’s so very fun. The graphics are super cute like adventure time in a way. Really really good gameplay too.
Purchasing heroes
Wish they weren’t so expensive at took forever to get. Some quests should give you more than 1 diamond
Mid game progress
As soon as I got to 5-1, I had difficulties trying to progress. It seems like you need to upgrade your heroes but it is hard to complete stages at that point. It might be posssible to grind enough coins to make them gems though if you can get far enough in a stage to do so. I couldn’t finish chapter 5-4 because all the monsters are too strong. Also, only use the first hero. It has a good cleanse skill.

You get stuck and can’t play anymore
I hate to complain because this game is kind of cool, but I fell in love with it and I wish I wouldn’t of because after a certain amount of progress you get stuck and it’s impossible to go further without in app purchases.. you can’t play at all.

I haven’t played this game in a little, and it’s pretty good, no forced ads from what I can remember, overall a great game. Anyway, I was listening to music today, and had the sudden realization that the game uses Kevin Macleod’s music. Properly credited, of course. Not sure why I’m writing a review about it. Anyway! was looking for a new game and I stumbled across this one! Love all the characters and the story behind each and every level definitely recommend ❤️
Love the game but a couple of minor issues
Overall I love the game, but I’ve got one problem and a couple things that would be nice to see added in/changed. The problem is that since the last update, every time I try to watch the videos for the bonuses or whatever, it completely freezes up once the video ends. I can’t exit out of the video at the end and I can’t claim the rewards. I have to completely close out the game and restart.
A couple of suggestions/things that would be nice to see is adding in more items in the shop to upgrade and buildings you can purchase/upgrade. Once everything gets upgraded it gets a little boring and the monsters get so strong the weapons, bombs, potions, etc are basically useless. Expanding on things a little more would definitely keep the game more interesting.

Simple and fun
I really like the app, it’s simple and easy (sometimes a little too easy) with fun characters and a cute art style. There are aspects that can be polished such as the typos in the text as well as balancing things out so it isn’t super easy, but I would definitely check it out for the art alone.
A surprise
I was surprised to find Unlikely Heroes had much more replay-ability than I expected - I’m still playing it every day, several months after I first downloaded it. The tactical/strategy element doesn’t really surface at the early stages of the game, when I was levelling up fast enough to complete the quests relatively easily - only when I finished the main story line and the game got harder, was I forced to think a bit more deeply.
The game’s quirky art style and somewhat odd translations were initially off-putting, but it has grown on me (look out for the unicorn poem, which is quite evocative despite being ‘damaged’ in translation to English).
I’ve encountered no major bugs, although sometimes I need to exit and re-launch the app after a long advertisement plays (you don’t lose your reward in this case however). A few of the achievements are unobtainable due to a bug with counting.

A little bit hard game, but i already upgraded all buildings and challenged all campaign missions, please develop more missions and buildings.

Better music
So when I downloaded this game I was thinking “I bet this is going to have awesome music!” But only to find out it had some music that I hated so please make it have better music!
A good game, but maybe add some better music?
Now all it needs is some actual music. The music currently is kinda meh. Probably dumb of me to ask for music, but adding some Hyper Potions music to the game added a better experience, at least for me. But this is still a unique and cool strategy game, and art style is cute. Good game.
